I really appreciate that he is a meathead and a PHD! Great content!
Ha! Thanks.
Thanks for advice doctor.Today is my rest day and I was wondering if I should or shouldn't take creatine .
Great content liked and subscribed. I take creatine every morning on an empty stomach. As you outline as creatine passes the blood brain barrier it keeps me sharp mentally.
For mental acuity I also stack it with fish oil, ginkgo biloba and lions mane with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (for maximum absorption) and I feel my IQ goes up 20 points. 😄
I assume we are talking about 4g+ creatine HCL daily?
I'm going to assume, as that's what's in his supplements. Good question, hopefully he replies 🙌
With HCL, yes 4g.
Wow! I did not know that health benefits for the depression! Thats awesome!! Thank you so much Dr Stoppani! 🎉
Great brain booster too
@@DrJimStoppaniCan creatine cause kidney damage or pre workout.
Definitely its necessary specially if your have immune problemas related to the skeleton and muscles, nervous system and mechanical movements. Specially if your not consume red meat.
Jim, should I cycle off the creatine for any certain amount of time and then go back on it.
u said when u FIRST start taking creatine. what about for those who have been taking it for many yrs? can those cut back to just taking it on just on workout days or do u still think they should take it daily?
I take 4-5grams 5 times a week (workout days). Are the two days a week im missing massively impacting my performance/gains? I take it its still good just not fully optimal?
can i take creatine monohydrate on rest days too
Okay even with the HCL?
Hi doc, could you please clarify if your 4-5g recommendation is for creatine hcl or monohydrate?
HCL
@@DrJimStoppani thank you!
What is your view on extra water intake while taking creatine. I think I read somewhere 2 litres per 50lbs of body weight.
I use Creatine HCL, no water retention. But I recommend around a gallon of h20 a day regardless and yes coffee, supps etc. count
What if your trynna lose fat
Creatine is still a must have. It doesn’t make you fat.
I rather not be on a supplement indefinitely.
Makes you go bald
🤡
Congrats for the dumbest comment on the internet
Disproven many times
@@garrett3726 was more a joke since the dude is bald, good to read that its been debunked I'll go find the research. Thanks
One of the biggest Creatine Myths
Information known since the 80s lmao
By YOU maybe. Don’t assume every other supplement consumer knows this, that’s foolish. Did you just know how to tie your shoes or did you have to LEARN? That’s info that’s been around longer than the 80s…
@@DrJimStoppani Sorry Jim, no hate.
I like it that my man is close to my age, aka not exactly a spring chicken anymore so I’m trusting his advise is good for use old dudes too!
Thanks for the information.
Creatine is a great supplement to boost productivity 😊
I have a video on that
Do you have any creatine recommend brand for rest day ? Instead of taking post jym due to budget control.
Just use creatine monohydrate bro
@DrJimSoppani do you have a recommended Creatine HCL supplement that we can use for rest days? Wouldn't want to take pre & post jym on these days I'm assuming. Also, to clarify we should be taking 8-10g of creatine HCL on workout days?
How to get rid of hair loss while on creatine ...pls help doc
U think it really causes hair loss?? That’s what I am worried lol
@@mariorodriguez5723 it triggers my dht level, after 14days of creatine use started thinning out....what's lol about that
That’s a myth.
Would you recommend taking a break from using creatine from time to time or is it safe to use daily? If a break is recommended, could you please let me know for how long and how often?
Thank you for sharing such information doctor🎉
So, on rest days wouod you suggest a creatine supplement brand as the onoy creatine through Jym Supps is in the pre and post, which im assuming we do not need that on rest days.
Just use creatine monohydrate
Do you think there is any benefit to cycling? I know it’s an old-fashioned idea, but I find that reserving creatine for when I need a boost works for me. Does the body not get used to having a certain amount of creatine and for it to lose its effectiveness?
No need to cycle
Yeah first! This guy changed my life. Thank you for your work man.
I appreciate the kind words, my friend.
First? That’s all you have to live for? You sound like a 12 year old girl.
