Ett år har gått sedan jag bestämde mig för att testa din och andra dagsländor bundna utan förlängd bakkropp. Kan bara säga att du (och fisken) har övertygat mig. Tack så mycket Daniel för ett fint mönster och trevlig presentation. 😊 👍 🐟
Thanks Daniel, two really great ideas, Coq de Leon fibers added to the CDC, and the ribbing with the pheasant tail fibers. Never seen either idea done before. Thanks for sharing, All the best, Sean
Nice Daniel. I'll have to give these a go here in the streams & rivers of south Germany. I still don't have a 'go to' mayfly pattern that I trust 100%... Let's see!
Great vid i would use it on a little river in the uk but in a size 10 as thats as bigas we can fish the river is called the river Derwent its in the northeast of England and it flows in to the tyne eventually 👍🎣🐟👍
Beautiful Mayfly and great to see another Petitjean enthusiast, although he would of course have used CDC throughout. Love the inclusion of CDL with the CDC. Would a parachute approach not improve buoyancy by keeping the CDL fibres in the same plane as the water surface?
Hell yeah I would like to win it 🤘this summer we gonna come back to Sweden area of Härjedalen.. May be just to late to have the Danica hatch, but I would definitely give it a try! Greetings from Belgium, Kevin
Der Stadtfliegenfischer On this fly I wouldn’t go for a to bright colored wing since it actually can be seen from under the water. When it comes to smaller imitations of mayflies I don’t think it matters that much.
There would seem to be no advantage to using hollow wing material... Plus, stripping the feathers on one side and then palmering them and trimming off the bottom fibers might work? If one doesn't have magic clips...? Thanks!
I do like that. I'm not clear how a buoyant material that is ABOVE the water would help. Still, it would be more proof against sharp teeth than most other materials. Mallard Wally wings last for one fish only. I think that huge mass of Coq de Leon you have would cost as much as a new Volvo.
Excellent demonstration. What a great dry fly pattern. Thumbs up!

Vielen Dank, Daniel!
Ein sehr interessantes Muster für mich! Gleich morgen geht es ans Nachbinden!

Snygg! Enkel! Inget konstigt material. Föredömligt! 😎🐟

What a great looking fly, I can't wait to try making some myself.
Lovely tie and one I will attempt to replicate for our large South Island mayfly down-under in NZ. Thanks and stay safe.
What an awesome pattern Daniel .thanks
This is good fly and well explained in every detail, planing to try this summer in mongolia.

I purchased a set of Magic Tool. It came with 3 pieces of wooden dowels. I didn't see you were using them in the video. What are they for?
Great Stuff Brother... AndyPandy :)

hade varit nice att testa den i Norge vecka 27 :O!!!!
Beautiful Pattern..Thank You..
I'd try in NZ or any river on the right time... but in the lake I'm fishing probably it would work starting now till August...
What size hook is that? Looks like an 8? Great looking fly
Does the color of the wing matters? Could the Fish see a difference?

Daniel Bergman thank you!
The perfect dry fly for I use in Portugal if you send me one 😀. Thanks to kanalgratisdot.se and to you. I always learn with you guys. Muito obrigado
Really like that fly not too difficult of a tie either

Would try it down here in Salzburg

Good job love it
Brilliant thanks
Nice fly indeed.
But why stripping off a half of the fibers from hackles? You can easily use the other side to tie a second fly!
zanchino thats what i was thinking
Snyggt bundet chefen
excellent
What a fly
Marc Petitjean should put a better price on the master vice, more people would buy it = more income.
