Hello there, welcome to everyone on art youtube’s favourite content: the sketchbook tour.
I kept this sketchbook from august to february, just in time for me to start anew in the spring. It’s a moleskine watercolour sketchbook, filled with 72 pages of 200 gsm cold press paper. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it as a mixed media sketchbook, but i have yet to actually find a watercolour sketchbook with warm press paper.

There "may be something wrong with you" is such a great compliment for any artist, no matter what the context. I subscribe to oodles of sketchbook content, yet I inevitably end up ignoring 98% of it due to advanced Same Old, Same Old. But I always welcome your vids, in every way: the art, the life outlook, the humor. Droll for the win. Also, your ballpoint pen backgrounds are super cool (especially on cold press) and such a smart way to use up a type of ink that frankly always scares me. Very cool, the lower middle green hand was my favourite but they are all very good. I like the tiger though, maybe you could experiment that style more

My favorite hand is probably the "mid flick", simply because i suck at hands and the proportions is mindblowingly good to me 😮.
I also tend to relay (?) on Line art, something i find easier when making pieces without is adding A simple contrasting background. The hoshi mv drawing is fabulous ! And the Donkey?! Love it ❤.

people work in sketchbooks in very different ways, and some get very defensive on how they feel sketchbooks "should" be used. I've seen some very strong opinions on calling rendered sketchbooks sketchbooks, they call them show books lmao

Have you ever tried the Primrosia sketchbook? Dot gridded watercolor paper. I am OBSESSED with it! Takes just about anything you throw at it except alcohol markers - they bleed thru like woah.
