HAHA I will totally admit to this being more French "interpretation" than "translation." Personally, I could listen to Gen sing "wa-ter-me-lon" over and over and I'd still watch it 30 times.
What a ride! I spent the first 40 seconds wondering about the French, then delighting in how the vocals sounded, and then the drop at 0:40 scared the life out of me. Very well done!

It's been well over a year since this was originially posted and I'm just now watching it again. I'd forgotten. Screamingly gorgeous girl + uber drummer robot guy + solid pop tune + melody + brain crushing dubstep + good post production effects + fucking FRENCH = enjoying this to the extent of deep psychological reflection/reboot and nosebleed. Well done, you two. I wish you the best of success, you deserve it.

I feel like her name is one of those clues that's so obvious it goes right over our heads. Mine included.
Geneviève is a French First name, but Artadi sounds more Spanish.
The text is not that well translated, and there's even a line that don't make sense.
But I don't really care, the song is cool and they tried their best (I guess) to make this French version!

What is this? Can you even call this dubstep? Whatever the hell it is, it is amazing.
@tocoolforschool11rts generally those sounds are produced by hooking the LFO of a synthesizer into the frequency modulation of the filters in the synth. then by adjusting the rate/speed of modulation you can change the rate/speed of the wobble. The program shouldn't matter much. I use reason.
it's different but I like it, not sure if the dubstep works but I can see what you're direction you're heading in and it'd work eventually

Dubstep is not supposed to be musical. This is however an interesting construction of rhythm and discordance adding a unique flavour of individuality to what is a cover of a hit song.
@ownageDan I disagree on every point O.o Louis' work is the only reason why I listen to these guys, he's friggin awetastic.
Saw them live in Dallas a year & a half ago. OMG so much energy out of Louis. The dynamic between them works on stage. Got a selfie first thing with Genevieve. Told her if she could grow a beard, I'd marry her. Then we did shots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
