As an animal lover, it's heartbreaking to see road kill. A perfectly good life wasted by someone being careless, or a frightened mistake of crossing at the wrong time. I'm actually glad to see this community. They are making a purpose for what the animal left behind instead of going out and killing one. I respect this community even if I can't stomach looking at the bones and skins.
@h h Although it is a shame, there is still a difference between humans and animals. I don't agree with deceased animals as decorations, I definitely don't for people either. It is a thing though, tribes deheading people and shrinking them down as decoration. So this is a thing for people, just not in more modern civilization.
@@obarbaglia5902 There's been someone purposefully running over animals in our area, so my mother and I have been moving a bunch of them to the side of the road. It's heartbreaking and I don't know how y'all can stomach handling them, no offense. I still think it's a good thing that they can help for science when done respectively, same goes for artists.
h h actually there is a museum in London called ‘body worlds’ that features real bodies that have been ‘plastificated’ and all of them were volunteering to do it. I’m not sure if it counts as taxidermy but it is similar
I am into all this vulture culture stuff and all the animals I have I took with the mindset of making them live on after death. Kinda like a funeral for animals but they get made pretty and put with other friends. ^^
I have a friend who uses bones and antiques to make and sell jewelry and all I could think of was her. She has an Instagram, @beautiful.again Sorry I’m just a proud friend
I collect animal skull replicas because I adore how they look, have an unidentified animal bone mom found on a beach when she was younger that she _thinks_ is a cow shoulder, and a dead beetle in a beaker on my desk. I love the aesthetic of dead things, and I'm so happy to have found a name for it! Honestly like, if someone gives me a model skull (even if its a crappy plastic one, as long as it mostly looks right) I'll be _soo_ damn happy about it. More death thing aesthetic!
I like how one of the most wholesome cultures you’ve shown on tumblr is people posting pictures of animal corpses. It’s actually really educational and it’s making purpose of an animal carcass that would usually just be left to rot. Also skulls are really cool.
I love how unexpectedly wholesome this is. I think taxidermy is interesting and all, but I guess I didn't expect the level of friendliness and welcoming to newbies? I need better hobbies I guess.
I had a high school friend in my radio class who was into taxidermy and she is the chillest person I've ever met. She'd get people skulls and stuff if they asked her to help them, too. Not what I expected from radio, but it was pretty cool lol
I thought something would be different after the purge... but I quickly realized not much had changed when a porn bot followed me but instead of it posting hardcore porn it was pictures of women in their underwear.
Oh porn bot followed me and they still had so much porn. Just that some have blank screan that says this content might me sensible to some or something like this and if you clicked ok there it is, porn
I've gotten 13 in the past week out of those 7 were posting hardcore porn and the others were men and women in their underwear advertising sketchy sites. And about 10 of them still had their icons visible despite having NSFW content. Tumblr needs fixing.
Pro-death and death positive groups/people are honestly lovely, I'm all about respecting and loving the cycle of nature, life, death and afterdeath, all that natural stuff. And the nature of hunting or processing a animal for everything it has, not letting a bit go to waste out of respect for the life the animal had. Meanwhile I just kinda want my body chucked into the forest when I die, get eaten by some woodlen hooligan creatures, have my family keep my prized POP collection as remembrance. As it should be.
Hey, hunting is something that is saving our dying species. Sounds backwards but it’s what is keeping things like giraffes alive and protected from poachers.

@@thekagawalife2081 A few months ago Tumblr was kicked off of the iTunes store so in a desperate bid to make the app family friendly they banned all NSFW content. The bot was complete shit and just blocked EVERY post with any skin color in it even if it wasn't NSFW. After that Tumblr's traffic dropped to around a quarter of what it was and rip Tumblr.
Also I like this community bc they’re all about natural death, like they find them on the road and the woods you know? They don’t kill them. I think it’s sweet because there’s a big sense of respect for these animals. Edit: Just checked my inbox after 3 days and this comment has 5k likes???? Hello! While the majority of vultures only collect already dead animals, it's worth noting that the community name was coined by (among other people) lifebender, shadyufo, naturepunk, and zooophagous all of whom either practice or support hunting and most of whom support fur farming. You can absolutely be a vulture without collecting only 'naturally' dead animals! : )
the only small part that makes me sad for my *own* ethical reasons is that it seems like some work with fur farms. Idk if they pay for the carcasses, and if not then that changes my perspective a LOT, it just makes me sad to see any form of support for that industry. Although if they don’t actually give the fur farms money, then although I’d never be able to do it, i dont have any problem at all (not that anyone asked lmao)
@@amandagoodwin9083 I completely agree, though it's worth considering (depending on the scale involved) that even taking away the carcass for free might save the fur farms effort and cost. I'd still be okay with it as I really don't see it making a meaningful impact on the farm's profitability, but it's always worth looking at the bigger picture.
@@PoppyHapalopus then they're vultures, people who kill the weak and prey upon the weak and dying vultures are still birds of prey, every type can and will kill those weaker than it for a meal, them being scavengers for the most part doesn't change that they need sustenance sport hunting is something that can be condemned, but hunting itself has absolutely no reason to be condemned yes yes you can actively farm and destroy bacteria for your own needs, but then the only difference between that and hunting is the scale and your perception and the assumption they do not feel (which we believed about insects at one point aswell) fur farming is...a shit practice,as most forms of farming animals is but most people have a desire to keep pets, pets that we feed...and thus require that some sort of farming is done, or we can create a system whereby after hunting people drop off the carcass and let the bones be used, but then we'd have to increase the amount we hunt, and would rather likely end up driving even more species to extinction needlessly mink farming for instance isn't "just" a fur trade, they're used for feed for animals (pets), feed for preserves, paints, used in hypo allergenic products, organic compost, which we're supposed to use because "non organic is bad" and producing the sheer amount of it we'd need to feed the populace on other materials without farming simply is not viable it's not like things are wasted most forms of fur farming use every bit of the animal that it is viable to do so, which is the vast majority of it living conditions could be better in most cases, but that is a separate matter from farming by itself

I'm glad ethical taxidermy is being seen as less weird, I've always appreciated it as a kind of art. all I wonder is how half these people haven't died of rabies.
A good vulture always wears gloves and goggles when dealing with blood and guts. Also, if the animal has been dead for a while the rabies would've died off too. But you can never be too careful.
Hygiene is the number one most important thing in vulture culture. I always make sure to thoroughly wash my hands and whatever has come into contact with said vulture at any time it comes into contact with it.
Jessica Creed Wait I read the story and I literally don’t see what’s wrong with this? She had the toe removed years earlier for medical reasons and was consenting to have it turned into jewelry. Yeah it’s unusual but it’s not unethical at all.

:O I've been part of vulture culture for so long! I've never even thought about bringing it to you but now that I think about it 100% fits the aesthetic here! Yes, most of us absolutely love and respect the animals. I personally like to think of small things I think each skull/bone's life was like- kinda writing a story for them in my mind. A very down-to-earth and kind community and one I've very happy to be a member of. I'm happy you think so too ^^
it makes me so happy to see other people appreciating vulture culture and not thinking we're freaks or sadistic sociopaths that like playing with the dead bodies of small animals. i got into it out of a lifelong fascination with biology and it's something i've actually made friends from and it brings me a lot of joy. i find animal anatomy absolutely fascinating and i'm sitting here surrounded by my various bones, preserved bat wings, and cleared and stained wet specimens thoroughly enjoying this video.
I hope you don't face too much hate. It's always hard to live a different kind of life, or maintain a different kind of passion. I know nothing about your community, but i support you !
Yeah, it can get really bad. I was really nervous clicking on this video because of the thumbnail but I like the creator so I did anyways and I am glad it turned out like this.
It honestly sounds like a really cool hobby and I love how skeletons look but anything dead freaks me out so much so I could never like collect my own dead animal :(
I like to make jewelry and artwork out of the bones I collect. I love putting a new life into something dead and I'm happy that you acknowledged how it is important for us to be ethical in the oddity trade!
I ACTUALLY KNOW A LITTLE BIT OF THE DISCOURSE!! There’s a girl on tumblr who collects human bones, and she got a super old human skeleton of this little asian girl and people were super mad at her. they said she was stealing bones of poc without honoring their cultural death traditions or trying to track down the family to find out what they want to do with this girl’s remains. she was super aggressive when people were calling her out. she also just does a lot of stuff with human remains like she sold finger bones of babies on her etsy or something like that?? as i’m not involved in this community in any way whatsoever i don’t know the details, but i’m pretty sure anything with human remains sparks a controversy among people in the vc community idk
It wasn't a child skeleton, it was likely a teenager. And it was a university anatomical model that was tossed out after getting too much wear and tear.
TheChocoXCheese like i said, i don’t know any of the details, just what i was able to piece together from what little bits of people being mad i saw on my dash. i think no matter where the skeleton came from, it’s kind of controversial to own human bones, especially the baby bones she sold on her etsy
@Trebonius Flonius They do cremate and return the ashes for newer bodies. But older university models predate those kinds of systems, so they don't know the family of the skeleton. It's usually when they don't have a place to return it to that they toss it out.
Taxidermist here. This video was honestly pretty wholesome. Personally, I think that as long as the images aren't too gory, and the animals are treated with respect (not killed for the sole purpose of a mount), these sorts of accounts should be allowed. It's a form of art (and yes, I think art in the form of nudity should be allowed as well) but there should also be filters for people who are sensitive to that sort of thing. Anyways, great video, and thanks for featuring my weird (and occasionally disturbing) community! (Feel free to ask questions)
Realty Nice Welp, taxidermy isn't just stuffing skins, it also includes reconstructing skeletons, mummies, etcetera. And a lot of taxidermists (I can't speak for everyone obviously) avoid killing or using animals that died purely for sport/mounts. Hope that doesn't sound like advertising haha.
key37raminus I know, i meant that entire communities that aren't generally harmful or harming anything shouldn't be banned because of people who feel uncomfortable, there should be systems put in place so that both parties are satisfied (I'm aware tumblr does that but there are still a lot of faults)
How did you get into it? Like, one day you woke up and "well, i feel like dealing with dead animals from now on" or was it, I don't know, a childhood thing? It would be very cool to read a story in that community, if you don't mind.
Hi! I am a vulture, thanks for giving our comunity a chance. We all try to be good and law abiding people, even if we do sometimes get covered in gore. ^u^
I'm part of VC and I love it. I have a few skulls my grandparents have given me and I want to get more. Most of the controversy comes from outsiders who accuse us of killing the animals ourselves for their parts, calling us animal abusers for wanting these parts, and having human remains is very controversial. All in all, it's a wholesome community that loves animals and respects them, the laws of where they live, and the beauty and brutality of nature
Can't you also collect parts of dead animals? I'm pretty sure that's what people who don't like hunt animals do anyway, but why are they angry at the community if that's the case mostly anyway?
@@weirdcat8373 I think it's because hunters also use the meat, but in VC we may not use it for human consumption and give it back to nature. I also think people see it as weird and that were future serial killers or something. Some people also collect mummified animals, feathers, sheds, full skeletons, pelts, and more.
@@MMM-hz8fj The serial killer thing really is sad and stupid. I mean I'm not even interested in this hobby, but I sure as hell would collect a deer skull or something like that that I found in a forest. It's just interesting, not just because it makes someone edgy or a future psychopath lol. Kinda sucks this community gets ridiculous criticism like that.
The community looks so wholesome. I think leaving carcasses out to be eaten by other creatures is good and natural, but taxidermy is fine since a lotta these people still have respect for the animals. It’s almost like they’re immortalizing them *very nice*
KATintheBLACK dude I love nature and wildlife. I have a few things in my collection and like.... I’m so thankful to be able to hold a precious sparrow skull or a fluffy fox tail. In addition, it’s helped me become more comfortable with death itself. Something that is scary is becoming less scary for me.

Oh shit I think I found my community. I've never skinned anything but I have a weird obsession with skeleton, skulls and sharp teeth. I guess I just like them cuz of the aesthetic and bringing life to death
Vulture culture is just people who like collecting animal bones, pelts, taxidermy, etc. I collect bones, myself. It comes from a place of fascination with biology and wanting to learn more about organisms and how they work. Living things are fascinating.
yeah i love this kind of stuff too! Can't collect anything atm though but as someone who draws nothing but animals seeing animal skeletons and stuff is really cool and useful
My first was a sheep head that got dropped on an ant pile. I've been keeping dermestids for about 10 years now because of that damn sheep. I'm really surprised beetle keeping wasnt mentioned at all.
I personally don't think I could ever do that - I love biology, but I also love animals and dead ones break my heart a little. Still, respect! That's pretty cool, actually.
This is actually pretty cool! I think it's nice how they aren't afraid to confront death, yet the dead animals are still respected. It seems they take the perspective that death is natural, it happens and dead things shouldnt be regarded as disgusting nuissances, but treated as beings who once lead actual lives. They aren't treated as trophies for bragging rights either. Also pretty educational.
@@electricmagnetic obvious troll is obvious, but I will bite anyway: the moral, ethical, and legal damage when it comes to improper handling or procurement of human remains is much greater than that of animal remains, which is why it takes a MUCH higher degree of authorization to handle them

Wow! I had no idea that this community existed! I’ve been a skull and bone collector for a while (from dead things that I find lying around. I live in rural England.) I find this whole thing is pretty impressive.
hate to be the person to deliver the tea but sadly in the past few years there has been some. very odd and unethical events. specifically graverobbing and someone buying an actual human skeleton only to pose with it in selfies. the good part is, the vulture culture community did express their disapproval over this.
salvatore nah it was. I remember this happening, I only heard about it on Twitter though. Most people agreed that everything was ok as long as she respects the body, but then she posed kissing the skull, which most (including me) agreed was disrespectful.
Said it before above but IMO, anyone messing around with *human* remains has nothing to do with VC. Most of the VC community is interested in the natural preservation of wild or domestic animals- humans aren't really in our wheelhouse.
Oh my goodness I had no idea this community existed to this extent! I've been collecting, cleaning and preserving already dead animal skulls for a while now and I thought I was just one weird person, not one of many! Thank you so much for covering this community in such a respectful way, I'm so glad I found out about it!
I can understand why people would join the vulture culture community. They all seem to have a respect for the animals they collect and it sounds like fun collecting things like skulls! I think its pretty amazing how they can take something that was once alive and make it live even longer by preserving it. It's kinda like collecting fossils (which I do) but the creature passed away more recently and the species isn't extinct. :)
Collecting and cleaning bones is a very fun hobby! If you like fossils and nature you might like it. The community is super open-minded, friendly, and respectful (at least on Instagram. Tumblr is a bit different)!
Like real vultures we are pretty chill. There are plenty of bodies to go around. No use in fighting over them. XD I am wondering if thereis a strong biology major intersection in this group.
Collecting is a fun hobby and the community seems really fascinating and wholesome. I've got a fossil too, a clam, but I mostly like collecting crystals and cool rocks, which my dad kinda started when he worked in a mine. I haven't got much so far but I wanna grow it.
#VultureCulture storytime: My high school art teacher had a lot of bones for us to draw. One day she brought in a brand new cow skull from a farmer. However, she didn't expect that the farmer would give her the ENTIRE head. Long story short, she chained it to a fence for a year and let nature do its thing.
My mom, sister and my sister's friend are part of the vulture culture community! I've always found it interesting, and my sister often makes art with the bones, while her friend usually uses pelts. They always treat the animals with respect, and it's always interesting to see what they do with it.
Step 1: look up laws on what you can or can not obtain. Things like sea mammals, native birds in the US, Raptors and such are very hard no-nos. If you're in the US. There may be state laws that prohibit the collection of roadkill. Step 2: obtain protection, gloves, masks or respirators, and plastic bags that can withstand any spontaneous gross Step 3: happy hunting. Look under things like bushes, animals tend to hide before they die.
@@RainTyrsdottir I'm from Canada so the laws may be different but I'll be sure to my research but thanks for the tips! I'm gonna wait until I move out/finish high school cause my parents would be freaked out lol
Hey Strange.First off, I loved the video... Second, I would like to bring your attention to the SCP foundation. It is a collection of short scifi stories ranging from the cute to the funny to the terrifying. I think you would enjoy it.
I'm a part of this Tumblr community and I can confirm it is very wholesome! Everyone is super helpful and supportive of each other, and the only discord that comes up typically stems from a view of ethics (ex: killing animals for the purpose of preservation, combining different animal parts to make art, etc.), but this doesn't seem to happen very often because most members of the community tend to share pretty similar beliefs of how things should be done. If any of you are interested in this hobby or community I'd definitely check it out; it can be a great way to learn about animals and their behaviors and anotomy, and an interesting way to show respect for these animals by turning their remains into beautiful display pieces!
When I’m older, I would like to do this! I would love to respect animals killed because of human impact. Sure, it’s gross to pick up roadkill, but so is hitting an animal and not reporting it to authorities.
I feel you omg. I have golden deer head book dividers. And an fake antelope head to hang my purse on. Idk if you could do the real bones but as long as the bones are coming from animals who died naturally it’s ok with me

Alexandra Adams same , while I do find it a bit creepy and gross , I am glad that they are repurposing the animals body

@@PoppyHapalopus true to the vulture name, vultures (the bird) will straight up kill a baby goat unfortunately :(
the only small part that makes me sad for my *own* ethical reasons is that it seems like some work with fur farms.
@@PoppyHapalopus then they're vultures, people who kill the weak and prey upon the weak and dying
vultures are still birds of prey, every type can and will kill those weaker than it for a meal, them being scavengers for the most part doesn't change that they need sustenance
sport hunting is something that can be condemned, but hunting itself has absolutely no reason to be condemned
yes yes you can actively farm and destroy bacteria for your own needs, but then the only difference between that and hunting is the scale and your perception and the assumption they do not feel (which we believed about insects at one point aswell)
fur farming is...a shit practice,as most forms of farming animals is
but most people have a desire to keep pets, pets that we feed...and thus require that some sort of farming is done, or we can create a system whereby after hunting people drop off the carcass and let the bones be used, but then we'd have to increase the amount we hunt, and would rather likely end up driving even more species to extinction needlessly
mink farming for instance isn't "just" a fur trade, they're used for feed for animals (pets), feed for preserves, paints, used in hypo allergenic products, organic compost, which we're supposed to use because "non organic is bad" and producing the sheer amount of it we'd need to feed the populace on other materials without farming simply is not viable
it's not like things are wasted
most forms of fur farming use every bit of the animal that it is viable to do so, which is the vast majority of it
living conditions could be better in most cases, but that is a separate matter from farming by itself

Those people are kind of stupid if that's the reason. Glad to see Tumblr is still full of annoying weirdos.
i mean, people should be mad that she got a child's skeleton full stop, not that her culture in death wasn't preserved.
(Feel free to ask questions)
angsty taxidermist I don’t know anything about it. What’s like a fun fact or something you’d like people to know?
Realty Nice Welp, taxidermy isn't just stuffing skins, it also includes reconstructing skeletons, mummies, etcetera. And a lot of taxidermists (I can't speak for everyone obviously) avoid killing or using animals that died purely for sport/mounts. Hope that doesn't sound like advertising haha.
They have filters that work if you tag your sensitive content.
key37raminus I know, i meant that entire communities that aren't generally harmful or harming anything shouldn't be banned because of people who feel uncomfortable, there should be systems put in place so that both parties are satisfied (I'm aware tumblr does that but there are still a lot of faults)
How did you get into it? Like, one day you woke up and "well, i feel like dealing with dead animals from now on" or was it, I don't know, a childhood thing? It would be very cool to read a story in that community, if you don't mind.
*Immediately rushes over to Tumblr to look up “Vulture Culture” after this video*
Cooper Olm that sounds really cool and wonderful

A new porn bot still follows me almost every day, and like the other commenter I have gotten pro-ana blogs in my recommendations frequently. I've had to block *so* many pages but nothing seems to stop it
Hoenstly? I love this. It seems people do this to learn and because they admire the cycle of life. Its somehow soothing? Turning what can be tragic into art
quLnn It is that for some people. For me it’s mostly an interest in natural biology. I just like learning about them ❤️
For me, it's about honouring the animals' life in death
For me it's learning and exactly what you said. ^_^
quLnn Hoenstly me too
Wow! I had no idea that this community existed! I’ve been a skull and bone collector for a while (from dead things that I find lying around. I live in rural England.) I find this whole thing is pretty impressive.
I find that the wierder, darker, and most morbid communities are often the nicest and most accepting, really makes you reconsider your values.
hate to be the person to deliver the tea but sadly in the past few years there has been some. very odd and unethical events. specifically graverobbing and someone buying an actual human skeleton only to pose with it in selfies. the good part is, the vulture culture community did express their disapproval over this.
Spooky sad skeletons send drama to your bones
salvatore nah it was.
Scruffy Wolfdog there were at least three realistic human skulls in the video
but are we not gonna talk about the awesome painting on a *beetle* at 3:27 like that's gorgeous
and the vertebrae comparison
THIS IS SO INTERESTING
I've been reminded that my best friend has had a dead raccoon in a bucket on her roof for the past six months.
Oh my goodness I had no idea this community existed to this extent! I've been collecting, cleaning and preserving already dead animal skulls for a while now and I thought I was just one weird person, not one of many! Thank you so much for covering this community in such a respectful way, I'm so glad I found out about it!
We have groups on many platforms including facebook. You are more than welcome to join. ^_^
TheFuzzypelt ,I think I’d like it. At some point it would be cool to have a couple skulls even if I don’t join.
Like real vultures we are pretty chill. There are plenty of bodies to go around. No use in fighting over them. XD
I am wondering if thereis a strong biology major intersection in this group.
Collecting is a fun hobby and the community seems really fascinating and wholesome. I've got a fossil too, a clam, but I mostly like collecting crystals and cool rocks, which my dad kinda started when he worked in a mine. I haven't got much so far but I wanna grow it.
@@TheFuzzypelt hey where do you find bones, it seems interesting, but I don't want to hunt critters, what do??????
#VultureCulture storytime:
My high school art teacher had a lot of bones for us to draw. One day she brought in a brand new cow skull from a farmer. However, she didn't expect that the farmer would give her the ENTIRE head. Long story short, she chained it to a fence for a year and let nature do its thing.
you could've just started your comment at the start of the story ur a weirdo for putting a hashtag in a youtube comment
@@bugglemagnum6213 ah, c'mon
My mom, sister and my sister's friend are part of the vulture culture community! I've always found it interesting, and my sister often makes art with the bones, while her friend usually uses pelts. They always treat the animals with respect, and it's always interesting to see what they do with it.
"Thailand bat harvests" really hits different in 2020 though.
I have a cottagecore/grandmacore side blog and I love it so much... I’m low key such a grandparent
Mags Honey I need to check out your blog, fam!
grandmacore sounds like a death metal group for seniors (in a good way)
its my fav type of aesthetic!!!!!
i love that shit whats your url

I kinda want to be a part of the vulture culture
Step 1: look up laws on what you can or can not obtain. Things like sea mammals, native birds in the US, Raptors and such are very hard no-nos. If you're in the US. There may be state laws that prohibit the collection of roadkill.
Step 2: obtain protection, gloves, masks or respirators, and plastic bags that can withstand any spontaneous gross
Step 3: happy hunting. Look under things like bushes, animals tend to hide before they die.
@@RainTyrsdottir I'm from Canada so the laws may be different but I'll be sure to my research but thanks for the tips! I'm gonna wait until I move out/finish high school cause my parents would be freaked out lol
I’m a part of it ! It’s super fun to look for bones and preserve things
Jade t vulture kulture
You're more than welcome!
Hey Strange.First off, I loved the video... Second, I would like to bring your attention to the SCP foundation. It is a collection of short scifi stories ranging from the cute to the funny to the terrifying. I think you would enjoy it.
...thank you for introducing me to my people. I must go find my fellow vultures. Caw caw!
I've been distant from tumblr for a while but seeing that this is a thing makes me want to jump back innnnnnn
I,,,, think I just found,,,, my new hobby?
THATS SO GOOD!! Feel free to join the Vulture discord servers!!

When I’m older, I would like to do this! I would love to respect animals killed because of human impact. Sure, it’s gross to pick up roadkill, but so is hitting an animal and not reporting it to authorities.
tumblr: the gift that keeps on giving
Honestly?? The bone part of this is relatable because I always pick up (CLEAN) bones of deer that I find
I thinks is quite cool actually
Yeah, this one's not all that bad! :D
me too
It is pretty cool and there's respect for animals. It's just kinda funny how this kind of very graphic content gets green light. (skinning etc.)
Who knew, taxidermy community, actually wholesome, educational and aesthetical
Your merch should be an onion with salt on cuz onion boys getting salty
Heyo, from the Vulture Culture Community! I got into it because of a show called Oddities. Hooked ever since!
*France has joined the chat*
I need that flannel shirt in my life tbh.
when i was 10 i found a bird skull in canada and smuggled it over the border and my mom LOST it and im still mad at her
God I love vulture culture, it's so cool and wholesome. Thank you for the little deep dive into it!
I have a fake cow skull decorated with fake butterflies hanging on my wall...I guess I'm a wannabe vulture...
You're a culture vulture for the vulture culture community
I feel you omg. I have golden deer head book dividers. And an fake antelope head to hang my purse on. Idk if you could do the real bones but as long as the bones are coming from animals who died naturally it’s ok with me
“My dude you got some nice water fowl” lmao I’m gonna just start saying this randomly from now on
This is equal parts cool... and equal parts unsettling as I remember this is a Tumblr community, where nuts live, which make me expect a dark side just below the layer.
Maybe I'm just paranoid and cynical.
Do a furry deep dive! I'm a furry myself and I'd like to hear your opinion. We're not as bad as everyone thinks, but I don't go on tumblr so I'm not sure how,,, chaotic it is. I could say more, but I won't clutter this
Personally I have no problems against you guys. Most of the times you guys seem to be judged a lot for what you like and that sucks. Hope the best for you, bud
@@kazooplayer3 James isn't a furry and they are no more weird than me and you
I would to see an episode on that! I myself am part of the community too.
*furry noises*
Can’t believe I tapped on that notification right away. I must think you‘re REALLY funny

I just want to point out that as of now, your comment has 666 likes
You're like the one person I watch that goes through these tumblr communities and trends, in a very sincere and curious manner. And it just makes me feel very happy to have someone who raises this social media in a interesting and genuine light to where I can enjoy and learn about tumblr, and enjoy the good parts, learn about weird but interesting communities, and learn and understand the bad and frustrating parts of the app that's a part of my social life. Thank you for being an open and aesthetically pleasing UA-camr is all I'm trying to say lol
The whole "vulture culture" is actually super interesting.
I'd never be able to do taxidermy, but its sooo
Cool
I'm so glad I watched this! I've been collecting bones since I was small! I always found them gorgoeus and a very poetic way to represent life. Taxidermy always fascinated me as well, and I'd always stare and examine any that I saw because there was just so much to take in- here was an animal, alive just like me, but frozen in time. I hadn't heard of this community until this video, but I guess I'm a vulture lmao.
