On paper it seems complicated until you try it once or twice then you realize is simple

Is there a color chart like this for the Risograph brushes too?

We have a color mixer chart included with the Riso brushes and the Print Pack. It won't be exactly the same because Riso has way more colors. Instead of getting a static chart, it is a modular color mixer that shows you how different colors blend together.

You say choose from the color chart but don't explain the system. Personally I don't have trouble understanding it but you did mention that people are intimidated by it and then offer no explanation...

This video is meant to supplement the user guide when you purchase ColorLab. It would not be possible to follow this method without buying the pack. The user guide explains the system, and you can utilize this video or our longer live streams to follow along and make the process easier. If you have not yet purchased ColorLab, you can use this as a quick way to see how colors come together using the system.

Is there a shortcut to bring up the color chart? In my procreate app, I want to check on a color, I exit procreate, open my photos, scroll to when I when I downloaded the chart, and then close
Photos, and open procreate again. This is not seamless.

There are a few different ways you can approach it. You could use a split screen to have the color chart up at the same time as you're working, use the "Reference" feature to have it floating in your document to reference, or bring the color chart into your document. For the last option, it's best to take zoomed in screenshots as Procreate will compress the image making it hard to read.

Can you make an outline and then color drop? Or you need to color it by hand?

You can't drop in the halftone texture, but you can mock up your colors beforehand and use that as a reference for the halftones later. We have a few livestreams that show this process in detail on our page. You might be interested in our premixed halftone pack as well if you're looking for speed.

It’s not that hard once you wrap your head around it.
