Off the rails is amazing! Thank you for making the end of my week so much better! Constantly laughing and smiling at the four of you! Your Brutal Honesty every week is valued and appreciated!
Y'all have got to bring back Current vs. Classic. Those were videos from summer 2017 when y'all talked about a modern attraction that replaced an original attraction, and then compared the two. I believe y'all voted on which one you preferred over the other. I LOVED that series so much, but it was discontinued sadly. Do you think it is possible for y'all to bring it back, since there is more content being put out on this channel almost every day? Thank you so much for the opportunity to give this suggestion. PS: about two years ago, I met you (Craig and Ryno) at Disney Springs. This was December 2018. Y'all obviously don't remember me, but I asked if y'all could bring it back then. Once again, thank you, and I look forward to the future content!
I will definitely add Current vs Classic to the list. If I remember correctly, we had one more that we never released because we got toooo much wrong about the classic attraction we were discussing and that knocked the steam out of that idea, but it’s still a good one to go back to.
you all probably dont give a shit but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
I feel like I might annoyingly comment this on every off the rails episode but it should be known that this is one of the best shows you guys do. Perfect podcast material. People value your opinions and I think the best content comes from “tangents.” So what better than a show dedicated to tangents?? Keep them coming!
Just wow! Bravo! You should take a bow for evolving this show to the best content found on any of your channels. You have surpassed the Tuesday flagship show by leaps and bounds. The four of you have amazing chemistry. Thank you for giving me something to get excited to watch every week. This world needs more of the happiness and soles you create from watching this show :)
Would love to see Disney vs Universal return. Those vlogs were fantastic. Also, Some suggestions for Off The Rails topics: -the ideal night at Disney Springs -Poolside eats and drinks -how Bob Chapek can leave his mark on the parks, good or bad -best pieces of Disney parks CLOTHING -your perfect Disney staycation -if I was chief imagineer for the day... -the perfect nighttime parade -predictions/wants for the 50th anniversary
I am the person who loves to plan my Disney trip but I used Dreams on my last trip to Disneyland and my agent found a promotion that ended up getting me a theme park view room and some money back! And using their services keeps all these lovely people making UA-cam content so win-win!!
Still loving these new “ Off The Rails” segments. Some topics NEED long, detailed discussion with various points of view. Rhino’s train whistle is great!
I like to tackle the rides early in the morning to take advantage of short waiting lines on rides, and then as we have small kids, take a midday break with a character meal (free dining- wonderful times). We had ealy dinner with Mickey or characters almost every day of our trip and now with all the Covid restrictions I don't regret it at all, great memories for our entire family❤
When my kids were younger, we would go to the parks earlier then back to the hotel for lunch, kids would take a nap as my sister and I would make coffee, sit outside with a snack and chill until it was time to go back to the park for the night life.
This is exactly what my family always does too. Not that kids are older, they don't need naps, but we still take a mid-day break for the kids to use the pool while we rest/relax on the lounge chairs.
I’m so guilty of the go go go ... we can sleep when we get home mentality and we MUST stick with the itinerary with no deviation from the plan. Need to work on my flaws. I know my family would appreciate me easing up.
Craig and I are so alike when it comes to that travel mindset of let's go, go, go, hahaha. Also, Jackie, I can relate when it comes to being the planner and have been guilty of the whole feeling a little annoyed when someone doesn't want to do everything you laid out. Definitely something you learn to accept and adjust to over time.
Off the rails has become my favorite show from the dis each week. It’s my four favorite people having fun and interesting conversations. Thank you for the content and keep them coming please!
Such great tips for the first time family in this show!!!! From the dinning tips, water parks, the commando military style of planning your trip where even bathroom breaks are scheduled (where IMO you miss so much of the Disney magic and special touches they pride and put sooo much effort into and it gets missed in the insanity of planning every single second of your trip). You four are such a great collaborating group to chat!!!! Thank you for all these tips!!!!
Craig, I'm with you! I am a ride-centric Rope-drop to closing kind of person! And my traveling partner only goes to Disneyland for me. So I understand "dragging" your partner around the parks. Your right it's good to take a break, its good to have a balance commando/easy-going trip. P.S. I LOVE THIS SHOW
I am really enjoying these "off the rails" videos! I've been watching pretty much all of the Dis videos for a couple years now, hoping to visit FL in the near future, and this series has quickly become a personal favorite. I learned from many hours of video binging to trust your opinions as a good guide to the various offerings available and hearing these free flowing discussions related to single topics is wonderful.
I am LOVING these Off the Rails episodes! I find my self agreeing with each of you on different things, but also hearing different nuggets of information that make me rethink how I enjoy Disney World. You all make some super amazing points. Y'all have really given me some new thoughts and ideas for our next trips to Disney World.
Of the five trips we have taken, our best trip was this last one where we only did Quick Service meals. It was so nice to not feel the pressure of making it to a dining reservation. We also take a break between 3 and 6 to nap or swim, before heading out again.
Its one of the reasons we love WDW. I'm like Craig up Early and go. It used to drive me crazy waiting for my wife and daughters get up at 830 9 then breakfast then back to the room to finish makeup. Id be saying we are missing out on heaps!!!! then I just said look its all our vacation. im going to the parks and give me a call when you are coming. so sometimes they would meet me in the afternoon or around 10am. or sometimes after a day at the resort id just go to MK by myself at night. but you must stress that there is nothing wrong doing this. at WDW and Universal this is why we love FL no one needs to drive just hope on the transport when you want to meet up with the rest of your group. OMG I love these shows I don't think you realize how great these are.
I agree with Deni, a hotel day is the Best! Swim / lounge by the pool, make a dining reservation at your hotel. Kids love it and the parents can recharge.
Agree with Deni. We always do less park days than vacation days. Last year was 6 and 10, this year will be 5 park 8 resort. It's so nice not to be rushed and get to relax.
Agree so much with the resort day -- no matter where we go on vacation the middle day is the day off from vacation. Learned this on our first trip to WDW -- had to cancel all of our Weds activities and just had a veg day -- saved the whole vacation.
Love the off the rails episodes, keep them coming. My suggestion for meals, have a big or late breakfast then you don't need lunch. Bring some snacks or have a Dole Whip and then table service Dinner. Saves money and saves time.
A character meal between Noon-5pm kills 3 birds with one stone. 1. An AC break 2. Meeting characters (still experiencing Disney magic but low key). 3. Taking care of a basic need by having a meal.
I agree! I quickly discovered it was especially beneficial when my three kids were young. The food offerings were also healthier and tastier. And I can’t stress enough the low key down time it provided for my kids away from all the non-stop external stimuli.
Enjoying your show. One of our funniest trips to Disney was a Fort Wilderness Lodge stay. My husband , my teenage son and I were checking into room. When we got in room it was 1 bed and bunkers. My son is really tall, so I went back to checking and said , we have a problem. I need to cut son in half for him to fit in bunkbed. It was hilarious time. And characters would knock on our door, when passing our new room, with 2 beds, lol.
You can get the mini donuts at both water parks. There is a stand for them in front of the lodge at Blizzard Beach and one across from the showers at Typhoon Lagoon.
Deni, break days are awesome! I agree with what you said about planning a day to relax, because my family did that in 2019. We slept late at our resort (Caribbean Beach), had breakfast at Port Royale, and then hit up Typhoon Lagoon, and that was AWESOME! Believe it or not, though, that wasn't even the best part. My brother and I left the water park and went resort hopping 'till we met the fam at the Edison in Disney Springs. Best Mac and Cheese ever. Then we begged our parents to let us go to EPCOT. We resort-hopped AGAIN to Crescent Lake, entered the IG, then watched The American Adventure. Break days are some of my favorite at WDW.
This is my favourite of all the shows! Love all of you and it feels like I am just listening to a conversation between friends. Love “bee’s knees” and “ happy campers”!😀
I have only been to Disney World once when I was 10. My strongest memories are of Typhoon Lagoon. Not Magic Kingdom, not Epcot, but Typhoon Lagoon. I loved the snorkel pool. I must have done that 50 times. And I loved the lazy river. We would go to a park in the morning, go to Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon and head back to a park in the evening. It was awesome. Now that I am a mom I just think it must have been exhausting for my mom to pull that off. But we had a blast. The “after thought” water park is my strongest memory from that trip.
I agree about splitting your group up if needed. As our family has grown we have teens and littles. We all love doing a selection of attractions together but always split up during the later part of the day to let the older kids hit the thrill rides again and the younger ones catch a show, character meet, or parade (all pre covid). It helps keep everyone entertained instead of waiting.
Two really great points you made. 1. We learned the hard way that you can get really sunburned on a cloudy day. We were out on a beach in Michigan and it was cloudy and windy and we got seriously burned. Man was that painful. 2. Also, thanks for mentioning the stick-type sun lotion. I also hate having greasy stuff on my hands. I'm going to give the stick a try. Spray on works good for that too. One side point: I never met a lazy river I didn't like.
Great discussion! I'd love to hear a discussion on the top mistake or must-do's for Florida residents. Also maybe a discussion on doing the parks in your mid-70's. Thanks! Keep up the great work.
I’m really likes this one! I’m planning a trip for my brother and I for late October, doing it throughout Dreams Unlimited Travels, and I think I rewatch this in September. Thanks guys!
Absolutely on the lunch as table service IF you’ve been as many times as I have, considering I no longer live nearby (so I don’t HAVE to do everything) , it’s less expensive at lunch & you can cool off/rest. Some attractions have shorter lines near end of day. I am with Jackie on 1 TS per day. It does take so much time out of the day. Yes, Ryno, I totally agree on the waterparks! 😂 I’m thinking crowds=germs. Yes, Deni, great advice to have a Resort Day to unwind & relax. OMG!!! You all are so in tune with my WDW Vacation Planning!!! My Biggest Mistake on WDW planning: never going solo. 🤣 Going to solve that problem this year! It seems like I won’t miss FP+ after watching alot of your weekly in Park vids. 👍🏻 Mary, my Dreams Unlimited Travel Agent, is the best!!
Just got back from WDW. 1-Use Mobile order app, even to sit at a quick service, need it to be able to eat there. 2-Keep head on a swivel for the lines for rides, with social distancing lines are all over the place. 3- it was hottest 4-6, universal great to get back to resort, disney not as easy, so a good indoor ride or dining is a nice break.
I love these videos. Books can have a big impact on my trip. To prepare for Harry Potter world at Universal I read all the books. Then I had the brilliant idea of reading Jurassic Park during my trip. My whole trip emotionally switched to Jurassic Park. It was cool but NOT what I spent many months preparing for. Probably a “niche” problem but thought I’d share.
Good show. Enjoy the breakdown on articles posted on the DIS. One thing that may not have been mentioned is pushing thrill rides on your kids to do when they don't want to do them out of fear or any reason. There's encouragement and then there is shaming and it's a line you don't want to cross. To name it, it's the Clark Griswold line.
I agree with Ryno on the water parks. We spent Thanksgiving at WDW a few years ago and went to Typhoon Lagoon on Thanksgiving day for Turkey legs. The park was EMPTY!! Maybe 50 people in the whole park. We were down from NY and the weather was perfect for us.
Now that water parks are mentioned, it just hit me that I do feel like we rarely get water park content, hopefully we can see a smidge more! Glad to see Craig recently visit BB a few weeks back
Love the DIS keep up the good work! Ryno great start to the show. When you retire you should get a part time job with the Disney RxR ! You’d be Great !
I love off the rails. I find long-sleeved spf shirts cooler on the arms than short. It keeps the radiant heat from frying your skin and is protective also. As a translucent-skinned Canadian, I am much more comfortable with long sleeves, even in the blazing heat of August.
I know for us, when we started going to Disney, there was so much to try and do food wise. I was that person who booked 3 table service meals a day, because we had to do Cinderella's Royal Table, we had to do Be Our Guest, etc. That planned our day. And it took a few times to realize that wasn't the best way to Disney. Live and learn.
We love to get the last breakfast reservation. Back when they had early morning magic, we would hit the park early and knock out several big rides and then enjoy a very late breakfast which counted as an early lunch. This was especially great at Tusker House and places like that where we were not rushed and could enjoy the switch over of food. We are big breakfast food eaters though! Then we really didn't eat another big meal for the rest of the day and did mostly snacks and small bites.
I like getting the deluxe dining plan and eating three table service restaurants a day when I go to WDW with my fiance! As a young couple, we like creating an "all inclusive" feel to vacationing to WDW and fold plays a huge role in vacation enjoyment for us personally but we also don't have kids so that may change in the future!
I agree with Craig on table service especially in a park. Have been going since 1977 and had a table service meal once. Diamond Horseshoe in 2017 as my “companion” said let’s go since the Cast Members were drumming up business and the place was nearly empty.
When we did Disney when my daughter was younger, we always gave her choices...do we wait 40 min to meet Tinkerbell or do we go ride some more rides? Do we stay at the park for another while or head back to the hotel for a break? Do we head to our table service dinner reservation or just chill by the pool with some quick service? It made our days MUCH more bearable!!
I can't believe I'm saying this but I don't miss Fast Passes. I feel like I'm not getting pulled from one end of the park to another. That constant time tug is gone. Gotta have sit down meals and my Disney trips are not for kids, lol. We ar DVC Members but when we fly down for an extra get-a-way we now use Dreams to get us our room reservation :)
I agree with you. We are jumping too much all over the park. I like to spend time in one area then move to the second area, not running all over and back especially at Epcot. Now we have to book quick service meals hours before we eat.. Now We have to know ahead of time which park we will go to. Too much planning and time restrictions.
My family needs to find a balance because my kids of course don't want to sit down for a meal and want to just constantly be on rides, where my WDW vacation revolves around food. We've done one trip with only one sit down the whole trip and then another with one sit down per-day. I think I fall in the middle where I'd like a few sit down meals, but don't need one everyday. Also, Crosby stole the show for me. That poor little guy really had an itch! :)
One mistake to avoid is not making a room request when it matters. I've had good luck with getting the building number by requesting it, and it makes leaving and returning to the resort much better.
We usually stay at the wilderness lodge. We take down our room number from our previous trips, if we had a decent fireworks view and then we request it on our trip the following year.
I would like to suggest a show topic of the extinct ride you miss the most. Mine is Horizons and knowing Deni is an old timey Epcot fan like I am I am curious to hear her answer and all that jazz!!! This is a great show. I would also like to see Best and Worst comeback, but not at the expense of this show. There should be room for both. Thanks.
Dining at Disney is a big part of the vacation. It requires time to plan the meals and leave other parts of the day open. We usually plan the evening meal but use our dining credits to pick a table service during the day when it makes sense for us. But plan that evening meal.
When we did two table service in one day it was breakfast before park open then dinner late just before fireworks. That left the day for snacking when we saw something we wanted to try. Other than that we did one table service per day and rotated between the three meals over our week.
Hi! Love these shows! Is it possible to do videos on each of the interesting queues? When I’m at Disney I’m always so rushed going to rides or dining I don’t have the presence of mind to look at the queues in any depth. You guys talk about details in the queues and it’d be nice to show us those interesting details. Thanks!
Honestly, we so rarely do table service because it takes too much time and it is too much food. It has been a while since we've gone, but on our last trip we only did 2 table service meals and they were both character dining experiences.
Thanks for watching! Please remember to give us a like, make sure you're subscribed, share with a friend and leave any comments, questions, or video suggestions!

I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
Please keep these Off the Rails discussions coming. Love the chemistry between you four. Very entertaining and informative. Thank you!
Can we take a moment to appreciate how great the hairstyles/haircuts are on Ryno, Craig, and Deni; and the classic Top knot on Jackie? 👌🏽🥰👸🏽
I love Deni's hair! Some weeks it's straight. Some weeks it's wavy. (OK. Maybe I watch too many of these shows.)
never been able to manage a top knot
I feel like I might annoyingly comment this on every off the rails episode but it should be known that this is one of the best shows you guys do. Perfect podcast material. People value your opinions and I think the best content comes from “tangents.” So what better than a show dedicated to tangents?? Keep them coming!
I think I’m going to steal that as the tag line. We’re going off the rails on this show dedicated to Disney tangents.
@@DISUnlimited feel free to steal!

I usually travel solo and I do the same thing! I just can't handle a busy park in the Florida heat
Ryno I just want you to know that I live for the “all aboard” 🙃
Jackie, I think you're the bee's knees! You go girl, represent us mature ladies. Love you all.
I’m so guilty of the go go go ... we can sleep when we get home mentality and we MUST stick with the itinerary with no deviation from the plan.
Need to work on my flaws. I know my family would appreciate me easing up.
Yes!!! Split up when you can. We learned that it is better to divide and conquer getting the best day than not and get a mediocre day!
This is quickly becoming my favorite of the Dis podcasts. Even when I don’t agree (see below), still a great discussion. And the panel is great.
Craig is my vacation soul mate 😂 my family never wants to do everything that I want to and tell me that they need a vacation from our vacation 🙄😊
"It's the bees knees. For real." LOLOLOL AND the way you said it with SUCH conviction. I love it.
Off the rails has become my favorite show from the dis each week. It’s my four favorite people having fun and interesting conversations. Thank you for the content and keep them coming please!
Everytime Ryno blows his train whistle I think of his grandpa. Such a warm opening💙. I can’t wait till the Disney’s railroad opens again 😢.
Our favorite bunch.. the Fantastic Four..!!
Such great tips for the first time family in this show!!!! Totally agree on the need for more hybrid locations with lounges! I love tap house and you don’t have to wait for a server.

Can’t wait for off the rails next show.. this concept is a keeper!.. toot toot!
Agreed table dining at the parks eats up a chunk of your day.... early dinner around 4-5 is PERFECT
Best show they have these days!
These are my new favorite shows! Keep them coming!
Love the Off The Rails group!
Oh the liquor bottles in the bathroom!! Best idea I’ve heard all day.
I really like these deep dive discussions, that this is a great panel. Thank you! Toot toot🚂
I love when you all go off the rails. My new favorite content!
I enjoy table service midway through my Disney “day” to relax and get my second wind. Of course midway can be anywhere from noon to five.
Late table service lunch when it is crowed and hot , then no dinner just a quick snack . ride super early and ride supper late.
Jackie is my favorite! I say bees knees all the time.
I really like this new Off The Rails show, but I still hope the Best and Worst of WDW show comes back. Love you guys!
I absolutely love this show!💜💜💜. This is such a great concept and I hope it sticks around.💜💜💜
PS- you guys are the bee’s knees!😂
We LOVE Typhoon Lagoon!!!🌊😎
Yes Deni! Take a vacation day during your vacation 😉😂🥰
It is important to make sure everyone has the same "traveling" style. Split the party if needed for everyone's happiness.
Our family love the brunch and linner TS for at least a few of our days at Disney.
This episode is so good. The segment about giving your travel party a break had me laughing so hard.
I agree no fast passes. The lines move much faster. I agree.
Jackie is so wholesome and sweet
I love Jackie's Bees knees.
We will be visiting wdw in September for the first time and this was super helpful and very informative thanks. Please more discussions like this
My family needs to find a balance because my kids of course don't want to sit down for a meal and want to just constantly be on rides, where my WDW vacation revolves around food.
The table service lunch is my midday break. It's faster than going back to a resort, and I try to schedule it when attraction lines are the longest.
Thanks.
Wonderfully balanced panel. Great insights and perceptions. They are in their collective wheelhouse. ;).
How Brave
Dining at Disney is a big part of the vacation. It requires time to plan the meals and leave other parts of the day open. We usually plan the evening meal but use our dining credits to pick a table service during the day when it makes sense for us. But plan that evening meal.
When we did two table service in one day it was breakfast before park open then dinner late just before fireworks. That left the day for snacking when we saw something we wanted to try. Other than that we did one table service per day and rotated between the three meals over our week.
I think that you should get something for breakfast before the park instead of having 2 table service times. That would make sense.
Hi! Love these shows! Is it possible to do videos on each of the interesting queues? When I’m at Disney I’m always so rushed going to rides or dining I don’t have the presence of mind to look at the queues in any depth. You guys talk about details in the queues and it’d be nice to show us those interesting details. Thanks!
TOTALLY agree on table service meals on a vacation!!! Seems like such a waste of park time!! And expensive!
Honestly, we so rarely do table service because it takes too much time and it is too much food. It has been a while since we've gone, but on our last trip we only did 2 table service meals and they were both character dining experiences.
