I'm not a big Foo Fighters fan, but I'm a big Dave Grohl fan.
I saw them about a month ago at Fenway, they were awesome.
I love how Dave relates to the audience, the band members, especially his daughter. It's not just another show, saying the same things, he enjoys the moment. Seeing him with his daughter on stage made me love this guy even more.
You know some bands they smoke drink or do drugs on stage strip down to almost nothing or make crazy lewd gestures... others bring their kids on stage to have them sing with them. At a hard rock concert..... pretty slick. What a COOL dad.

This is so cool. Brings her on stage, embarrasses her into eye rolls, has her dressed like any teenager who doesn't get to pick their own clothes - and yet you can tell how much he loves and supports her just by those acts. Can you imagine her "What I did last summer?" essay when school started in the fall. "Oh, and went on tour with the Foo Fighters"....
Dave Grohl. Worth millions. Wears $60 VANS. Awesome!! 👍

I love Concrete & Gold; might be my favorite FF album. And this song is probably its centerpiece.
ecoRfan I think.it's my.least favourite. Very vanilla.
Colour and the Shape also might be my favorite. Certainly a classic. Both close in greatness but different. I'd put Sonic Highways as my least favorite, which few agree with but hey makes me unique. Sounds like lethargic leftovers from Wasting Light crossed with blandness from In Your Honor. If you haven't seen the documentary, it's hard to follow, and really sounds like run-of-the-mill Foo Fighters.

People don't like the album because is newest and different but I think it's great. The best for me.
i think Wasting Light is probably their masterpiece. But TINLTL is my personal all time face

I am a major Foo fan but when I hear this song doesn't anyone think the tune is a bit like "25 or 6 to 4" from Chicago? I mean I'd hate for there to be drama about that but man I hear it in there every time. But just curious if someone anyone has the same thought when they hear this
It reminds me every time of blur's Coffee and TV, try listening to Dirty Water's verse and then Coffee and TV's chorus. Sweetly awkward.

I saw them in Pittsburgh last week and they were awesome. That blonde girl singing was SUPER annoying tho. Way too animated and trying to be the center of attention
