My theory when pricing a particular product by a particular manufacturer I check multiple suppliers. Sometimes 5 or 6 and if one of them is extremely low like 20% cheaper or less I throw them out of the consideration. I also will usually throw out the sellers that are higher than suggested retail. I also tend to stick with mainline sellers that have been in business for a long time and have good reputations. This seems to eliminate the scammers for the most mart.
Jesel lifters are the absolute best money can buy. Even when costing more this is the cheapest insurance money can buy. If you doubt this claim,look at who uses them; NASCAR mandatory 3 races;Top Fuel Dragsters Funny cars;Pro Stock drag racing. And anybody that does’t want to worry about lifter failures. Good luck
BAM and Gaterman lifters are what i use with so far 100% success rate.....both are rollers hyd .and solid...flat tappets are ok with low spring pressure and proper breakin along with blueprinted lifter bores and hi zddp oils
What about the crappy QC on the Johnson Ford FE lifters?? Horrible! Way off spec! Powell Machine, here on UA-cam did a video on them. No way they will work on a ford FE! Fix your issue!
Johnson had great lifters then the sold to Chinese soo what company are you now I mean the garbage that Johnson turned into I used to only buy your lifters after the junk you sold you need to convince me you can make a proper flat tappet lifter now
