i got 1-2'd by this goldlewis earlier and man i hate white wild assault now lol. the buff is messing with my spacing. it felt like their threat range was so huge because they could wa through what'd work in last patches. i got blown up a lot

I jumped on rank with Test and did really well, I really like them but I'm still lowkey indecisive on who to main, between Ram, Sol and Test. But seeing this Test makes me excited to learn them more

also sidenote goldlewis' 6p is the worst in the game by a long shot lmao, at least his other p buttons are some good antiairs despite having their own problems

Is test good now
They are certainly much better. But their design is still relatively honest so they're probably still sitting on the lower end of the cast
C.s. Is a way better combo starter now, having a new route with C.S -> 2S ->2H ->Greave Reaper(Both works), and speaking of Greave Reaper, the H version and 5K now launches less far from Test, so combos using this buttons are more hard to drop.
But the best change yet by far the Stain rework, now it takes a little bit more time to activate after Test hits the opponent, being more useful to pressure and frametraps, and now launches way more higher on hit, being perfect to start or continue combos with C.S.
Oh, and 6H gives heavy knockdown on hit, not a change that I will use personally that much, but a welcome one.
Overal, Testament is now more dangerous up-close and their combos are more consistent, but, just like the comment before this one said, still a very honest character in a game where everyone has something crazy on their kit, wich also means that they are in very low in the tier-list, sadly.
Every character in the game is good imo but testament is still relatively “honest” compared to everyone else. Bottom 5 but a guilty gear bottom 5 is another games top 5. It’s all relative
They can still be annoying to fight but I don't mind arcs buff their normals like f.s
How easy is goldlewis? Just easy, normal, difficult or very difficult?
Easy to mess around with, a bit more difficult mid level then once you get the hang of it easy again. It's learning to play neutral and resisting whiffing your big buttons that's hard lol. His inputs throw some people off though.
imo he's very easy anywhere below celestial because he has high health and big damage. at higher levels where people know how to do spacing and zoning and stuff, he gets a lot harder.
