I used block-off plates instead on my other street bikes. For my F4i, I am debating whether to just go with this T mod or to install plates and just use the filter.
This mod put oil in the exhorst ive done it on mine and when it gets high on revs at 12 it spits a lot of oil out threw exhorst coursing smoke any other ways of this to recert the oil
The pipe you are connecting to the PAIRS/KLEEN air system is the crankcase breather, if it get's pinched the pressure in the engine will rise until something gives, that will be a gasket, could be any.
I do not have access to an F4i right now. On the F4i, both oem hoses are near the valve cover. The main objective is to get the airbox out of the system

@@matt3122 No the exhaust ports create a vacuum and pulls air from the engine case. Theoretically this actually produces a performance benefit helping the piston downstroke

How is pinching pipe going to make a head gasket go?
Not the head gasket, the valve cover gasket. I have never experienced that but I have heard of it.

Yes, the oil will no longer go into the airbox with the clean air mod
does this mod work on a 2016 FZ09?
Yes, they're universal.
So do 09-12's not need a clean air mod done to them? Or would they follow the 13+ procedure?
It is recommended to do this on all bikes

Can I run the breather hose out of a faring? I don't want to run it to the exhaust port.

For the 13 and up bikes do u need a breather as well ?
I dont use the breather method on my bikes. I just run the hose to the OEM tee valve like in the video
