These home prices are outrageous. What kind of jobs do people have in this area to afford these starting prices, which we all know is never an actual price
I think there is a long list of the types of jobs. Tech, sales, admins, business owners. I am trying to think of the jobs of people I have helped buy houses. They are selling like hotcakes.
Houses in Dallas, TX on avg run you about 500K easy. Now if you want a new House pretty much your only option is to move out to New development. And houses their cost around 700,000 plus. So technically anyone who wants to buy a house this is the going price range. A lot of people who live in these kind of houses are Tech workers and MBA ( directors ) I was reading somewhere that a lot of Asian who live in this area take home 249-400K a year. After taxes. ( Wife works Husband works plus sometimes they have a 2nd job as a programmer or own a some other business. Also a lot of Asian have Money from back home as property values have gone up exponentially they have lot of cash for down payments and closing
I would also add to her list Doctors, Lawyers, executives, etc. last but not least, people selling their California homes and paying these off cash lol!
Tiffany, We are going to contract on a home in Celina next month. It is in Legacy Hills by Del Web (55+). We currently live in Maryland. We are building the Reknown model which with all the options will end up around $700,000. Have you done any videos of Legacy Hills or Del Webb? They are just getting started out there.
@@lifeindallasfortworth Didn't know about you at the time. Can you give me link to your video? And what could you have done for us that Pulte will not be doing? Could you have got us a better deal in that neighborhood? We want a 55+ community.
LOL. $600K with 20% down = about $4800 per month PITI. Oh, and your electric bill in summer will be at least $500/mo. , while in winter with the recent spike in the cost of heating gas due to Ukraine War, that'll be at least $500/mo. too. Enjoy your new "affordable" home!
Hi! I think affordability is relative...so that amount changes with whomever you speak with. All I know is these communities are selling like hotcakes.
There are houses like this for 600,000. In fact if you were open about where in the DFW area you live then I can actually get you into a home like this for cheaper than $600,000!!:)
