I’m reliving my youth watching 80s cars. Remember as a little boy ,being with my dad in his Cav Sri in 1987 doing 135 down the M1. A Cossie 3dr overtook us doing 145, and he had a Lotus Carlton up his trumpet. Remember jumping off my seat seeing em go past.

My grandfather was working for Volkswagen and Audi in Norway for 30+ years. I grew up with these Audis during my childhood and that is the reason why cars is a part of my life today. Thank you so much for this video who was not only cool, but also a trip down the memory lane! Maybe I should get a B2 Audi 80 as a tribute to my grandfather...

Now that’s more like it , keep those retro rides coming. I thoroughly enjoyed that, first time I didn’t fast forward, wanted to capture every bit of drip on that motor. We grew up on Sport Quattro’s both saloons and the Ur version !

My old man used to have one of these in 2002 actually was an Audi 90 Oettinger but same shape (I thought the Audi 80 was FWD), he put a 4.2l V8 in it from an Audi V8 but sold it before it was finished. Cool cars back then and not many modded in the UK!
Audi 80's are FWD but this 1 is the Audi 80 Quattro,

This is quite possibly my favorite video you've uploaded. It's fantastic! What a car! I own an 84 4000s/80 quattro and I love it. I'm the second owner and it has been pretty well preserved (124K). I have tons of fun with the stock JT engine. I can't imagine how awesome this incantation would be.. 610hp. What a beast!

This car was in such a state when he first purchased it, the outcome is amazing. The power and the way it looks is awesome. Always loved the 80's audis from rally but my neighbour in Mansfield had an audi 80 quattro, back then was just a great car too look at.
I live in Mansfield not far from his shop, I'm an enthusiast but I'm not a welder/fabricator sadly.

Bro!! This Audi really hit a spot in my heart! As much as my mother hates speed, I think she'd be smiling riding in this retro masterpiece. We had one growing up, same year, same color and I shed genuinely shed a tear😢 when I recently saw it gutted & rotting away in our back yard after partially restoring it before I left home & being away for almost 20yrs. I keep thinking about restoring it again but it's quite disheartening considering the state it's in not to mention location. Great find and big ups to Paul & his team at PCCR that built this amazing machine. Ricky this definitely put a huge smile on my face this morning!😃 Vicarious enjoyment ftw!!

Brings back memories of the Audi 80 Sport i used to like, back in the day, with its 1.8 4 cylinder fuel injected engine, although this one is ever so slightly more powerful!
