@@DeadShoot48659 I forgot how I found it exactly if it was through recommendations or search, but I found it. Also sweet! Looking forward to seeing how you did the rest of the bosses!
I did a no-damage P3P run, although I was afraid to try to record on my toaster. I did Maniac difficulty because I found the extra enemy damage to be advantageous. I made it TO the final boss, but I put it off a while ago because I don't have enough of a certain item on my best save...and going back to an Unstable Tartarus day to get gems more easily would require re-doing my level 99 grind and Thunder Reign/Morning Star Messiah fusion, which I wasn't looking forward to at the time. I might be willing to pick it back up now, especially considering that I know how to cheat the skills I want instead of enduring the tedium of farming skill cards for weighted random noise control...
Somehow the other night I got the enemy to whiff his attack on the first turn and went damageless I was like WHAT ARE THE ODDDDS ( I had to come back to your video to say this)
Oh you want ideas from us? Well: Persona 5 Nuzlock: Easy Run: DLC is allowed. Any difficulty. Normal Run: Start 18.4 If the Player dies, the Persona is dead. Mercyless Run. If a Teamember dies, you cant use him anymore (or block if you dont have Yusuke) exept he gets a new Persona (Trickster/3th Semester). If a Persona is executed or deleted its counts as dead. Dead Personas can be rebuyed by Compendium (but only as fusion material) Any ending. Hard Run: Start from the beginning. No overleveling. 3th Semester ending. Just a idea! >v
jesus christ, does normal/portable increase the amount of XP gained? can't believe you hit level 20 or so in the first tartarus run in only 6 hours; it literally took me that long to get level 9 in FES on hard, and that's WITHOUT splitting XP. definitely would have made the rampage drive fight a hell of a lot easier(and less RNG).
@@DeadShoot48659 that's what I'm saying though - even as solo, I don't get nearly as much experience. I haven't had any teammates in my run except when they got shoved in my face (see full moon operation, and even then they got obliterated leaving me full XP), and yet I was level 9 by the end of my expedition. For reference, the save before it was around the 2h mark, whereas the save after was slightly above 8h. I'm doing the 2nd block as I'm writing this(the first half anyway), and the save before was at 13h, level 11. My current save (mid tartarus) is at 15h, and level 14. Again, full solo XP, more or less taking all XP cards I see in shuffle time. I'm 99% XP got buffed for portable, I can't see what I'm doing different.
@@sasaworker6417 FES is straight up running through thorn-bushes. The XP grind has always been a nightmare. I remember countless times grinding like 5 levels and then just eating shit to 1 weakness and wiping, then do it all over again (Not to mention the insta-kills as well). I was playing on Normal too lmao... Portable does increase XP gains and makes the game way less grindy and genuinely the only reason I'd recommend it to others ontop of having the female protagonist. I think it's closer to how Persona 4 handles things if that helps, since they were developed in a close period of time.
@@Nepgearaf yeah, I suppose. P3P and 4 definitely needed a lot less grinding to get anywhere, especially XP grinding. Money still felt a bit tight in 4, but it still wasn't nowhere near as bad as the first tartarus run. Getting the 30-50k you're going to need for the arcade machine on top of how much you're dedicating to equipment(which will likely be quite a lot given a normal playthru with 4 party members) is a huge PITA. that said, weirdly enough I find FES' XP grinding kind of... fun. Maybe it's my stockholm syndrome, but weirdly enough it feels more fun and engaging than 4, probably due to the difficulty and higher chances of SMT style bullshit.
@@sasaworker6417 The grind feels grandoise. As monotonous and boring as the Tartarus blocks can be, the music and the struggle is what the dungeon crawling is all about. This game is all about suffering, so we might as well suffer too.
Part 2 is out now! ua-cam.com/video/sjqVhj7ibfo/v-deo.html
Congrats for calling dibs on this run! Hope the best for you for the rest of this run!
(I already have completed it) but yes thank you! You and Jack Benci were huge inspirations for the run! (ALSO HOW TF DID YOU EVEN FIND THIS?!? HELLO?)

@@DeadShoot48659 Did you need to cast Infinity every turn for the final boss? Or did you rely on mirrors, evasion, and just lots of general luck?
@@steam-powereddolphin5449 If I told you then you wouldn't watch the final video! :P
"Full moons are set events because they always happen on full moons"
