First career win for jockey Walter Rodriguez

Walter Rodriguez, a 24-year-old apprentice jockey originally from El Salvador, earned his first career win June 26 at Laurel Park.
Riding Rationalmillenial for Thoroughbred racing trainer Jose Corrales, Rodriguez was able to guide his mount to win by a half-length at odds of 7.90-1. It was the first ever win for both Rodriguez and Rationalmillenial, for Rodriguez coming in his third career mount and for Rationalmillenial in her eighth outing.
