@@siadawn Na, they wouldn't deserve the privilege of being called an "Animal," more like monsters, or just soulless, like don't get any animal if you can't handle a scratch, and horses can cause some serious damage even if they don't intend to do so, they are pretty large and as a result heavy, but you can also get seriously hurt in your own home, soo..

I think you are right .... and I feel for this brave man ..... I was in hospital years ago and a lady next to my bed had an amputation leg and this pain I heard she moaning at night I never forget.... sending my love & Namasté so the title was nice and then.... ughhhh reminds me of a bad and sad period in my life.... and I could not stop watching it either....

Was thrown for the first time ever in several years by my horse who was telling me quite plainly he didn't want to be ridden (it was sunset and there had been reports of wild dogs in the area) and I've never blamed him for tossing me off. But that doesn't negate the slight fear when I hear a stomp foot or slight rapid movement from a horse now. This guy is definitely better at getting over
it

Pretty stupid assumption. Generally people are decent and give a fuck when their pets get hurt because of something the owners did wrong, just look it up on UA-cam.

@@h.y.4371 ye, even the internet can show you some shit, from around the world like with sites such as Animal Aid and some of the shit they rescue animals from can absolutely be disgusting, the videos do show the nice side of humans with helping the animals, but they also show the bad side of people with the fact these animals are in these conditions in the fist place.. like looks about most animals, who have gone extinct or are near it round human times, most likely humans can be a direct or indirect result of this.. Direct being deforestation; poaching; overhunting etc.. Indirect sort of being along the lines of speeding up climate change; some of our domesticated animals like the cat who has caused some severe issues in places with hunting different mammals; birds and fish, as well as in some cases hurting basically any native species they can.. But, ye there is good things in the world, but also a hell of a lot of shit, that people really need to start taking the blindfold off of themselves to see and recognise these things, as with some things there are simple things most people in the world can do, and somethings others can do, with some going out and removing things from animals like seals caught in fishing line; helmet liners etc.. I rambled a bit there sorry..

He has a deep level of understanding. I'm very sure that even though he was able to move through his fear of her after the surgeries it wasn't easy...and I imagine talking to his husband about wanting to keep the horse was an interesting process too!

This is a MAN. What a strong guy. I would’ve become angry, regretful, and in my humanness would’ve blamed it on the horse and sold her off. But, he had the strength to not blame her or others and moved on with his life. That is a miracle. Keep it up good sir you are an inspiration. She gave clear indications she didnt want to be ridden .. he acknowledges that and took responsibility for his own actions that caused the loss of his leg.
It seems more appropriate that the horse forgave him and that "he" forgave himself which allowed them both to heal, trust and have a stronger bond because of this.
@@notme2day Indeed. This, 100%!! I have no need to _ever_ "forgive" any animal for what they do; they are completely innocent. They know not what they do... so how can you be mad at them?? My cat once bit one of my fingers down to the very bone... he was sick and I was trying to cheer him up with a feather toy. And it was no one's fault; he just mistook my finger for part of the toy, lol. I was never angry with him. As a former rider, I have also been bucked off of more than one horse, including breaking in a wild stallion, lol. Anyone who gets angry at an animal really shouldn't have one to begin with. Sweet story, though; loved the horse in the house! Have to admit... I've never seen _that_ particular setup, before!! 😁❤️🥰

Love this story. It’s a great example of love. Love between the husbands and love with an animal companion. Also I love how he recognizes he made a mistake and didn’t read her signals. When it comes to animals that have the potential to hurt us, the onus is on us to be careful.
