As happy and envious as i am for John i hope everything gets worked out so Joey can return.
JD a Class Act, clears it up right from the beginning Joey Kramer IS the Drummer for Aerosmith, AWESOME
John Douglas acts like he can play drums, but John Douglas screws up the set every night he’s on stage with Aerosmith… and this goes back to his time with them in Vegas. He’s had plenty of time to learn the songs, but he didn’t. John Douglas sucks for this job. ✌🏻
@@ellisparrish5002 He ws MUCH better at that show in Long Island last month than he was at Fenway last year! Still not Joey, but he's starting to get the feel down a little better, just in time for them to retire.
I also saw him twice in Springfield Mass in 2019, I was at the first and last of the 4 Springfield shows, and he did improve by that last show, unfortunately Steven's voice headed the other direction over those 4 shows.
Great interview!! John, I've seen Aerosmith 20 times in every combination of members except Ray Tabano. My last show so far was Maine right before the 50th anniversary show at Fenway. You have played magnificently!! Sure, I'd love to see Joey back there before this all comes to an end. But you sir have filled some mighty big shoes in a GREAT way!!! Best wishes always!! Bryan
I messaged Linda Kramer, on Joey’s Birthday.. She messaged me back and told me some things, that made me understand the main reason Joey decided not to return to Aerosmith.. the following day, about 6-8hrs, after She replied to my DM, I found out she had passed, and was so heartbroken 💔!! She was as true guiding light for Joey!! I have been extremely concerned about how he’s doing, after losing his soulmate, and just hoping he is with her family, because he has always been close with them, especially her sister! Joey Kramer is the one who came up with the name “Aerosmith”, for the band, and will ALWAYS be THE DRUMMER OF AEROSMITH✌️❤️🙏🙏🙏🥰❣️Missing you, Joey.. and love you forever , just as I do for Mrs. Kramedog👍🥰
Good interview!!! 🖤🤘
As a fellow drummer myself... I would love to meet this dude!!! He's worked with iconic drummers and bands. When you can attach your name to frank beard... alex van halen... And joey kramer. Get out of here!!! That's the stuff dreams are made of!!!
So cool to hear how it all went down Jeremy! I have more respect knowing he wasn’t just shoved out of the band… cheers - R
Such a cool guy… ya gotta check out the full episode on the podcast feed, he talks about being in marching band! Pretty cool way to get into “music”.
John Douglas still isn’t “into music”, John Douglas is into scamming people as they believe he knows what he’s doing. John Douglas clearly can’t play Aerosmith songs to save his life, as has been evident since he took the throne. ✌🏻
Maybe, maybe not 🤷♂️
Just curious So when was the last time that Joey Kramer actually played live, rehearsed, or recorded with Aerosmith?
John Douglas never rehearsed nor did he study the source material, he just got the job because he has friends that help him stay in a position to pocket money. ✌🏻
The last show Joey played with them after the whole controversy about him having to audition for his job back after his injury and being forced to sit out the bands January 2020 lifetime achievement award performance at the Grammys and Joey ultimately suing the band to get his job back was on February 15th 2020. His first show back was February 10th. So he only played 3 shows when he came back. Then after that the band took a break and had another run of Vegas shows booked for the summer that obviously got postponed due to COVID. And by the time the band was ready to play again in 2022 starting with their Fenway park 50th anniversary show and also ending the year by making up those Vegas dates that got postponed, I believe Joey's wife had already passed away which is why John played all the 2022 shows as well
@@ellisparrish5002Can you elaborate?
Weirdo@@ellisparrish5002
@@toddmorrissey8372no, because he’s talking rubbish.
Great to hear not everything is on a click! I had a feeling, cause you can feel it when they play the old shit like Walkin' The Dog.
HELL YEAH....
He’s da man!
John Douglas is a smoke show and a hella shite drummer for Aerosmith. He stopped playing in the middle of “Adam’s Apple”. John Douglas plays “Sweet Emotion” like a low-rate wedding band drummer. Y’all singing his praises are equally ignorant. ✌🏻
@3:13, just let’s the momentum drop… like his old ass needs a breather or something… repeats the process to the end of the song. Kramer never played it that way. JD is a bad joke with Aerosmith.

Being a rock drummer starts getting really physically demanding once you hit 60 , mid sixties ...really difficult , 70 then 70 plus virtually impossible to do well for a 15 song plus hard and heavy hitting concert set , maybe the toughest thing is lead vocals as you age , tyler is a vocal freak , now he pushed to hard and hurt himself but he will recover and be able to continue to the end , back to kramer ..i think it was inevitable he would have to bow out at some point.. he didnt want to, he was i think forced by his bandmates probably kindly at first then ..( me speculating)...look man we have millions on the line here and we have to perform as great as we can and your not getting it done , just a guess but i think that makes sense , also when your wife the love of your life passes well ...how can you even care about touring or doing anything ...so thats why IMO joey kramer is no longer touring with the band
How bad is Tylers cocaine habit? Asking for a friend
Don’t do that.
Just…don’t.
