  • This is the moment a battered woman is rescued from an evil kidnapper after being held captive by him for 4 days.
On the 16th of October 2023, a family contacted police in Akron, Ohio after they noticed that their friend had been keeping a girl against her will in their garage. The family hadn't realised the pair were in the garage until day 4 & once it came to their attention that he had beaten her to a pulp they decided to call the police.
Shockingly though this wasn't the first time the kidnapper had held a woman captive, it was the 6th time.

And he'll be allowed to do it more. If they let him out multiple times what makes anybody think they'll not let him out again? This culture we've got where people think "it's just a mistake, they won't do it again" needs to stop. If you abduct someone ONCE you should forfeit your life. Abortion is legal, that's how little we actually value life, so why are we pretending someone who abducts people, tortures them has a life that deserves freedom, or even the ability to live it out to it's natural end? Let's treat adults the same way we treat the unborn, if we don't want them they go in the bin.

And if they didn't let him go what prison would he be in? Pick one, because they're all overflowing due to Republican policies of locking people up for minor crimes while also refusing to adequately fund the ever-bloating system they have created.
Ohio keeps electing Republican Governors and this is now how bad things are. You can look at almost every other Red state in the country and you'll find the same problem.

The reason he was let out is because of his skin color!!
Most of the judges are white, or are of a different race but wants to "impress" white people, so they're tougher on their own races..
But, the judges see themselves when they was younger, or see their own kids..
Sometimes see their parents when looking at white defendants, so that's why white defendants get lesser time than other races

The laws also need to be re-written to allow for serial DV perpetrators can be locked away for a good, long time. As it sits, they need someone to actually want to press charges against him and see it through, therefore, they're relying on a battered woman or man who's suffering huge amounts of emotional and physical abuse to actually confront their abusers in court. Unless you have been through that, there's no way to come close to understanding how difficult of a proposition that is for them.

Liberal politics at work. Sheriff's Deputy Isaiah Codero was shot and killed by William S. McKay who was facing a third strike when judge Cara D. Hutson reduced McKay's bail. McKay skipped out on sentencing for his third strike and shot and killed Deputy Cordero during a traffic stop. Arnold Schwarzenegger had appointed Hutson in 2007 (though I think I read somewhere that she identified herself with the Democratic party) Lately George Gascon (L.A.'s Democratic D.A. has also been getting backlash for being super lenient on crime. Well did you see them threaten the girl with sic'ing the dog on her, and threatened her with violence, if she what, didn't immediately leap off the ceiling bunk and break a leg, because the cops are the act tough cops who would rather a victim die, then lift a hand to help anyone but themselves... Seriously makes me sick, and then they clearly showed zero real compassion for her, and were more worried about talking through her, slamming things around to traumatized a girl already severely scared, and shaken up... they showed the kind bravado sympathy, which is the kind cops who only thinks about themselves show.... seriously pathetic show of policing if you ask me...
First the judge fails and lets this psycho out, gives what 18months to a guy who kidnapped a woman and her child, and then this.. what the hell is wrong with the justice system in the UK, i thought the US was the gold standard in failed policing, but this made me think the UK has some gold A cops and judges as well...

Some Americans have a romantic view of the townsmen arming themselves to stand up to a criminal and removing him. But vigilantism also results in false accusations turning into people being lynched. Women saying things happened to them and the people taking her word and killing the guy. Or rumours circulating about people in order to turn the town on them. It’s no different to African Villagers who set fire to rubber tyres around people’s necks for accusations of witchcraft. It's a very difficult situation. They've just rescued her from a few days of constant horrific torture by that scumbag.
It's quite possible that if cops start hugging her, it would trigger a traumatic response.
And then there'd be people here in the comments criticizing the cops for hugging her.

I think the sergeant needs to have a serious talk with that Officer about what he said. Threatening a victim with attack by a police dog is completely unconscionable.

The chick was clearly either a prostitute or into drugs. Normal people wouldn't put themselves in a situation like this to begin with. But it's not popular to be honest these days. Blame anyone but yourself.
