Here's a fun little DIY on how to make clear water balls without using nano tape! This is really easy, reusable and more environmentally friendly. It's basically the shrink wrap of a bath bomb that usually gets discarded but you can carefully remove the inside and refill it again. You can even take it further and create your own bath bombs for custom shapes.

If you have a shrink wrapper maybe you can replace the bath bomb with ice? Then you wont have to empty it out
But she still has to blast it with a heat gun, so it would have a very high chance to end up melting

Little tip. You can pull the plunger out of a syringe and use it as a tiny funnel. :)

This is a neat idea.
I've tried using shrink wrap for a Halloween decoration and learned you also need to be careful not to go too close for too long because it can melt holes in the plastic.
I wonder if biodegradable glitter would work in crafts like these or if they just dissolve in the water right away? I'm not sure how long it takes for them to dissolve.
I know people have used it in resin so it makes me think it would stay intact for a bit but resin before it cures is also thicker than water and doesn't absorb into things as well so I'm not sure

Interestingly enough, this gives me a reason to use my bath bombs. I prefer showers, but bath bombs are so easily accessible so I ended up with a couple of them as gifts. I normally use bath bombs for foot baths

Maybe instead of bath bombs, you could use water-soluble floral foam and carve it into the shape you want. Also, I wonder if the shrink wrap would fit the duck better if you tied a string around its neck before shrinking.
We make water bubble with plastic balloons. Me and my classmates just get some plastic balloons and stick it on the foset. If you live in the philippines, you may know plastic ballons. We buy them in a sari-sari store :)
may want to try wrapping them in plastic cling wrap and using a hair dryer. You can more easily control the shape and smoothness.

Could you paint the outside maybe with fabric paint or the mix of paint and glue? Or would that either peel off the plastic or dissolve in the water?
The outside is quite fragile so I'm not sure if the glue/paint will stay on long enough to dry. Even if it did, it might end up peeling if the bubble collapses. I think adding colour to the water would be more effective to change the look of the entire bubble

Tip: to fill the hole you use some glue or tape. (Make sure its waterproof so it wont be a mess!)

The glitter sinks to the bottom so it always stays inside the bubble even if you refill it. I didn't throw these away since they're reusable. Though if someone had to throw them away, it would be in the garbage like disposing of glittery slime or other craft materials.

When you add plastic glitter like this to water, how do you dispose of it? Pouring glitter down the drain is extremely harmful to the environment. Please let us know how you dispose of the glitter after you are done with it.
The glitter stays inside the bubble even if you refill it. The pressure of the water prevents it from getting flushed out of the small opening. I didn't throw these away since they're reusable so all the glitter is still inside the empty bubbles. If I had to dispose of them, it would be in the trash just like with glittery slime or other craft supplies.
