Sew A Summer Shirt with New Look Pattern 6197

I scored a lovely modern floral fabric from the discount section of a local fabric store-proving that amazing finds are often hidden in the clearance bins! Over the course of a few relaxed evenings, I crafted this shirt using my reliable Jane 1600-QC, a true workhorse in my sewing room. I even had a chance to pull out my quirky buttonhole device, which added a fun twist to the project!
This video will show you my, the Alexander, sewing process, from cutting out the pattern pieces to assembling the shirt and adding the finishing touches. I love how versatile this piece turned out; it can be worn tucked in for a polished look or left untucked for a more casual vibe.
