I just came up with this idea and reached this video lol But I was thinking more like a way for kids to walk around his/her neighborhood and make money. Like $2/one time move.
Some elderly people are afraid to step off the porches to even get to their cans. They sometimes leave garbage on the porch and ask the neighbors to put into the cans. So, is that service also possible? Take the trash to the cans then out into the street
I’m not sure if all haulers offer it, but where I work at a major trash hauler, customers can pay extra for off curb service. I believe it’s a small flat fee plus a per foot distance charge. It’s free if you are disabled. I don’t see the point of bringing another company in as a middleman. Just let your hauler pick it up next to your house and pay them.
I have 25 customers. It's a Lot of door knocking. I just started another job cleaning the cans as well. I live in central cali. It's very hard for people to make a living. I only charge $5 a house.
It’s a very smart business idea for people that own short term rentals/Airbnb and their property management company doesn’t move the bins etc for them. People definitely pay for convenience!
I have a lung disease and it takes alot out if me to get my cans out the backyard, pull them around to the front. As my disease progresses, I would appreciate this type of service. I think this is great for the disabled or the elderly or even for when you are sick etc.
I Joshua istre started this idea over 2 years ago but my hip died so I had a total hip replacement surgery and had to be down for over 2 years so I knew someone would start this I wish you could put me on if not I'm starting mine for way less right now
300 cans X 2 minutes each = 600 minutes / 60 = 10hrs. Idk what they're charging cause I didn't watch but you'd be busting your rear all day unless you were in a tight suburban area. Could make 600 to 900 in a day I figure.
With a team behind you like the one it looks like they have I'm sure They will sell this company and scale something else they could be selling sand door to door as long as they have a team
It's a great idea, but all municipal public works departments have this service for free. All the resident has to do is call and the driver will take it out, service it, and put it back. Phoenix, Scottsdale, Peoria, and Mesa provide this service for free.
For elderly or handicap. A more upscale town here, they drive around in utvs and get the cans out of your garage even or where ever you store it. Then put it back. Garbage truck and 3 guys.
I have never ever heard this. So you're saying that these places you have named, will dispatch a city employee to every single home FOR FREE to take out their trash? So in a city with hundreds of thousands of people, even close to a million people, the city will FOR FREE come to their home and take out their trash??? I have been ignorant before and am not saying its untrue, but this does not sound realistic.
The city I mentioned is a suburb. No it’s on a regular route. There is a large garbage truck on the corner, a small garbage truck going up and down the street and 2 kubota utvs with two guys each. They go up and down the blocks and dump in the big truck. Going into peoples yards, garages etc and put the cans back where they got them. Our customer told us they voted and it tripled their fees/taxes for the trash service.
I will never be rich until i stop understimating how incredibly lazy people are
Thank you lord for lazy people

Drive-thru restaurants have been around a long time.
@@TonySwingNYClot of peoole are more so bussy lazy person has no money to pay for service
@@wadesuhrThose are key for parents. I miss curb side pick-up from stores. So convenient
When Homeowners associations charge you $75 a violation for leaving your trash can out .... this is why.
Exactly!
If it helps get rid of Airbnb neighbor, then let the fines rain on down. With the neighbors on this one.
AT $49. a month, how can you afford to pay someone to take the trash to the curb two or three times a week?
Right doesn’t seem profitable. Feel like that’s something you would charge your doing yourself.
I would charge $50 a month myself.
Im guessing only way to make money is once the business is scaled
volume.
Who has trash pickup 2-3x a week?

Valet trash is the best and better option
Why wouldn't an Airbnb owner have their cleaner, manager, or handyman take the trash out and bring it back in?
Because it cleaning or servicing doesn't always land on the right days.
Great video! I’d love to find out more so that I can start a service like this in my area. How do I find out more?
