This coach is actually legit. Good mix of compound lifts along with enforcing controlled technique with pause reps and time under tension. Usually, "Hollywood" style training is a lot of BS/fluff. That's why Dr. Mike at Rennesiance Periodization has so much celebrity fitness content to pick apart. 😂

You have no idea what you're talking about - as per your fat bloated no muscle physique. It's generally fluff. It's generally a traditional Hollywood circuit routine. Most of this are NOT compounds. Spotting on DB OHP on all reps and giving him assists throughout is ridiculous.The swiss ball stuff is bollocks. You have to cut for a movie - you're not putting on substantive muscle in that timeframe, but the main thing you need to do is tension training - i.e. heavy weight, lower reps for sets of 5-10 with rest of 2-3 minutes, and then some metabolic training is helpful, but not crucial. The main thing is the diet and measured progressive overload with tension training. It's Obviously you, and the nuthuggers upvoting you, haven't learnt anything at all. Again - that's why your physique is fat and without muscle.
this reminded me what it was like training with my first trainer, demanded absolute beast mode.. slightly hated him in the middle of the workout, but loved the results after!

On the decline ab press thingy can anyone tell me why he fully extends to the bottom? I would have thought you go just above.the bottom to have your core engage? Appears to not be optimal but I don't understand why
I study exercise science and I assume it's bc at the bottom if you stay crunched sometimes the hip flexors can take over and although you're squeezing your abs you might not be using them. I find extending fully and then re-crunching and doing a sit up can help keep the abs as the working muscle, you'll notice he sits up in 2 phases (crunch his elbows down, then sit up) and I think it just helps him control his abs more
People that think this is good training are the same people that stop working out because they don't understand why there not building muscle and losing weight.
I love how Glen gets all fired up right before going into the most difficult sets… he gets it done!
