nice vid! i’m always late so no judgement. not sure if you guys know this but BV has several US outlets. upon checking last week, men’s clothing and shoes are always 50% or more off and accessories are always 30% or more off. not sure about women’s items. they are usually a season behind. they had the boots shown in the vid! limited sizing but you should call and establish a relationship with one of their lovely employees (to keep you in the loop). btw… their employees are SOOOOOO nice!! good luck! stay fashionable!
I got these in the regular version where the sole is not “clear plastic”, and I was disappointed. Came from Italy. Way overpriced. The sole used is like a light EVA type used on Uggs, and they won’t last you long if worn on rocks, asphalt and anything with a rough surface. Nor will they work well if ice. I live in Norway. I went for my regular size and even so they where too small, when every other reviewer has stated to go down half to a full size. That and the fact that I can’t justify spending that amount of money on a pair of boots that won’t even last me more than a season, I sent them back. I love the esthetic of them. But they only work if you have thin, and skinny legs tbh as the upper part is so slim, which of course is why the boots looks so good paired with that chunky sole, and the rounded shape of the toe box...
ultimately these boots are from bottega - they're going to cater to those that will drop any amount just for the aesthetic. they also most likely won't take factors such as intense weather into much consideration when designing. unfortunately "hyped up" items as these will come with its flaws - when looking at all factors I also agree it's not worth the full price.
I love your color combo ! I wouldn’t want all black but that icey sole is so much subtler than the colorful ones. I think you should exchange the size - I sized up in the Prada monolith and regret it so much .. even with inlays and a tight closure of the laces I slide in there a bit and it takes away from the joy of wearing them
Thank u for the review. I saw these boots in person, they were humongous. I’m only 5’2 and these looked like size 8 in person and i only wear 6.5. Do you want have the same issue? Like does it make ur feet look huge?
they do make my feet look bigger than usual! you can see it with my comparison with my normal well fitting boots - I do like the exaggerated look tho, but if you don’t want your feet looking big I don’t recommend
That boot is a yearly stock item by Bottega Veneta. It does look big on you. I'd return it and wait next year to buy it when your size becomes available.

Hey Patty i’m considering these shoes in transparent or black. How do the soles look now? Im worried the transparents will get too scuffed. Tyty :)

these aren't necessarily made for the snow - these won't be as sturdy as snow boots and make sure to dry them well to take care of the leather
