Pandit Nemai Chand Bural was a renowned classical exponent. His musical training began with his Grandfather Shri Gangu Bural. He then learned Classical based songs from Pandit Rameshchandra Banerjee. Later he started learning music through 'Ganda Bandhan' from Ustad Nasir Moinuddin Dagar. Pandit Bural received great acclaim by performing music at many places in the country and abroad.
In the late 1950's Pandit Nemai Chand Bural was appointed as an music teacher at Visva Bharati University. Probably in 1982, he joined Rabindra Bharati University as an music teacher. Later he also held the post of dean of music department of this university and held this position till the last days of his life.
Pandit Nemai Chand Bural passed away on 20 August, 1993.

Myself is daughter of Prof. Nemai Chand Bural. I am over whelmed to hear my father’s song in UA-cam. In this way his songs will reach to all musicians interested in this field. Small corrections, -my father started learning from Gangu Bural, father of Duni Chand Boral and eldest brother of the great musician Rai Chand Boral who happened to my father’s uncle in relation. My father learned classical based Rabindra sangeet from Ramesh Chandra Bandopadhyay of Bishnupur.

Thank you for commenting. This raga seems to be similar to Rupeshree. This fresh "Ga ma re sa" has been used many times. Can you please tell me which raga it is ? I am definitely changing the title.
