Pikachu Just Won a Smash Tournament in 2024

We've seen the Smash Ultimate meta shift a lot throughout the game's lifespan, but Pikachu is a character that has always drifted towards the top. Pretty much the same situation Pacman is in.
High potential, low high level representation outside of Tea in the past.
He barely plays Pacman now, and you can really see it in his gameplay 😭

ESAM's bad popoff meta has been what's holding him back

Pikachu is BUSTED, and ShinyMark is AMAZING! He has the amazing advantage state of ESAM, but also shows that when you play Pika not to get hit, he’s incredibly hard to catch and deal with. His defensive playstyle as well as his amazing conversions off of little hits are what pulled off these victories for him. I hope he’ll be able to travel more in the future!

I been using Pikachu for a while now and I have to say that I don't think the character is top tier. The character lacks range and he can struggle to kill. I think that pikachu is a solid high tier, but he's not busted like people claim.
