im doing a 1.6 swap should i put a turbo on it i dont need more power but im not sure about diesel also should i lift my suspension or will i be good on clearence
@@bigdshouseofsamurai9944 thank you so much I am completely done except I cannot find the exhaust manifold that acme adapters tells you to get what did you use
I used an Acme adaptors flywheel and adaptor, alternator mount and motor mounts with dodge 318 motor mounts. you will also need a oil filter relocation kit and a large radiator.
@@TheMark9013 A pump off any turbo will work, 1.6 or 1.9. You can get 86 to 100 hp with a stock pump, 8 to 20 lbs boost. You can get to 160 hp on a 1.9 with a Ghiles moded pump, arp head bolts and a mls head gasket. I run a 1.6 ECO diesel pump with no boost enrichment valve and can roll coal, but ARP and a MLS head gasket are nessery.
Good tips and information on the diesel swap. Appreciate you making the video and sharing. Hope to see more. Thank you.
Thank you, I'll do another soon.

Don't turbo a NA motor, no squrters under the pistons
3 inch lift needed
What about a fuel pump?
Auto zone lift pump

I have been thinking about doing the swap. What was the cost to do the swap?

10k
Thinking about doing this to my 02 Sportage with a 1.9 TDI the 2.0 Kia motor is garbage. hell to do maintenance. And terrible millage.
The 1.9 is a great choice, run a manual pump and It will be a breeze. Since my rebuild the only thing i have done is oil and filters.
@@bigdshouseofsamurai9944 what manual pump do you recommend
