I agree but one could argue that Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was far worse for Square as the failure of the film resulted in the demise of Square Pictures.
Another interesting remix, sir! Hat off for you. I see that some of the crackling is gone with the new samples from the official song release. I'm gonna miss the extra emphasis on the second loop after 1:00 , though. Loved the oomph there! I'm curious, what did you think of the official version?
It's good but lacks vocals or any kind of nod to more recent FF games. TBH I love Yoko Shimomura's compositions - the piano solo would have been golden in the official version 👍
