I’m wanting to repaint my Wrought Iron colored kitchen cabinets either Midnight Blue or Liberty Blue or Seaside. I have all samples. I saw a photo on Pinterest where they used a Black glaze over the dark blue. Does Fusion have a black glaze?
Mixed custom glaze colours, and then put on several layers, you do have to wait about 24 hours between coats of glaze, but it looks amazing! Or you layer them all at one time and create a faux effect.
You absolutely can! We recommend you play with different colours and techniques, that would look really awesome! Share a photo with us on social so we can see what you do!
Hello, this is just another version of the colour glaze effect you can create with our glazes. Here are a couple more examples fusionmineralpaint.com/painting-kitchen-cabinets-metallic/. fusionmineralpaint.com/faux-denim-feature-wall/. Hope that helps
@@FusionMineralPaints I understand that and did learn some from the video. But the picture is EXACTLY how I want my kitchen cabinets painted, so was hoping to see how to do that. So, why put a different thumb nail that the actual project thats shown.
Please hold up piece when you are finished applying glaze. Thx.
Love the beachy effect you with mixing the glaze and paint. Just what I was looking for. Thanks
Great tip with the clean brush touch up. Really great job

Was this piece of wood painted a fusion mineral paint prior to adding color mixed w glaze?
Yes it was : )
Thanks so much for this video! I also love the cabinet in the thumbnail...how was that accomplished?? Glaze??
That was the reason I watched video and it wasn't part of the tutorial.
what if you have put on the wax and its been on for a month or so can I still add the glaze?
The wax would need to be removed first for the glaze to adhere properly.
The cabinet in the preview is not in this actual video - how did you achieve that color?
The same way with a few different colours. Renfrew Seaside and Midnight blue. :)
I like the cabinet in the thumbnail how ddo you do that? Love this too!! Also is it shiney?
teresa grant it’s not shiny no.
No it’s not shiny
How did you apply glaze to the cabinet door that is pictured at the beginning of the video?

Exactly how much paint and how much glaze? I know you said parts but what does parts mean? Tablespoons?
A part is anything you want it to be.
Looks great on the molding but not so much on the flat surface.
Debi B oh we love the dimension it can give a glad surface !
We love the dimension on a flat surface you can achieve with glaze.
Do you ever add a lighter glaze on a dark surface?
You absolutely can! We recommend you play with different colours and techniques, that would look really awesome! Share a photo with us on social so we can see what you do!
