Everything, absolutely everything you do is stunning ! I cannot express enough how much I appreciate your gift your talents and your willingness to share. You are my favorite, looking forward to more and more and more and more from you. Wishing you extraordinary UA-cam success!
When we know how it's difficult to create THE colour that is in our mind, we can understand that you are a gifted magician of colours. Bravo from France. 😊
OMG, such a gift to share your formulas. I have been experimenting trying to get at least a near grey/green like yours. Did not yet attain it. This is amazing knowledge. Thank you for sharing. Thanks for sharing. Your furniture are my favorites. One of these years, when the world has returned to normal, I am going to put that Maine Ferry to good use and come and adopt one of your pieces.
Being a retired hairdresser who specialized in color, I totally get not wanting to share your recipe's! Thank you for sharing, personally I love playing with mixing, only thing is I'm not applying it to hair! Thanks!
Interestingly, this video made me think of hair dye! Seeing Angie's blends next to the original Fusion colors, I like Angie's better because they have more interest and depth. Much like the difference between dying your hair with a box color from the drugstore versus getting it done at a salon from a colorist who blends shades.
Just got here from the link from the rough dresser makeover you posted today, and I just wanted to thank you for sharing your color 'recipes' with us. All your custom colors are beautiful, and I've got 3 huge (and one smaller) painting projects on my horizon, and that dark, gorgeous blue is going to find its way into the master bed/bath makeover I'm planning. I love the lighter grey-green, too, so I'll be looking for a way to use that one as well.
Thank you! You are genuine and do your best to share. Your work and your pieces are beautiful! One small request, remember us from far away countries, we may not have those brands but you can tell us the kind of paint you use ( oil/water based), wax and other material so we can recreate your wonderful finishes. Thank you again!
Fusion Mineral Paint should totally endorse you!! All of your custom mix creations are brilliant. You should give them some fancy, sophisticated names 😉✌💚 Thanks for sharing.
This was such a GREAT and helpful video. I love that you are sharing these. They really make a substantial variance in the final project. I love ALL four, but my favorite is the Renfrew remix. Thanks again Angie
A small tip that I learn to protect your paint from drying : Put a plastic into the jar to fill the void and limit the air into the jar ;) Love your work, I hope I will be able to share my first transcend soon ;)
You are amazing!!! I’m binge watching all of your videos and you are my new favourite to watch. Your voice is so claiming and you never get frustrated. Those colors are gorgeous and Fusion Mineral Paint should hire you to create new colors and sponsor you ❤️ Keep making videos!!! And don’t give away all of your secret recipes 😉 From one East Coast gal to another with the same name…you are AMAZING 🤩 🥰😍
I know it’s a year after you made this video but I just went on the Fusion site & ordered the colors needed for that gorgeous blue. I don’t have a specific project for it right now, but I will very soon. Your creativity is contagious. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Such beautiful colors! The navy that you mixed is very in right now here in the States. Super saturated and moody colors. If you use a rubber (or silicone) spatula from the kitchen, you can mix the colors easier as it would scrape the sides a lot faster. It would help get a lot more paint out of the almost empty jars, too. Thanks so much for these videos! You are amazing at what you do, and I hope the number of subscribers blows up exponentially! Peace . 😍
Agreed with the comments below, this is totally amazing you are willing to share your recipes and show us in great detail how to do it. I have a piece that is calling for your Deep Navy Blue recipe. I can't wait to get that far with it. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Angie - I love your dark blue! Thanks for sharing your recipes. I'm wondering whether you've tried weighing the mixtures. Maybe I'm trying to be too precise, but it seems like it would be easy to measure in grams using my kitchen scale - just zero it out before each part of the recipe, and add each in succession. This would let me try out my ideas with a really small amount, say 10 or 20 grams of each color.
Hello, wanted to say how well you redo your furniture. It's beautiful and you're very very good at it. I'm planning to start using the Fusion paint but wanted to ask for some advice. Have you or can use the Fusion paint through a sprayer? Please help. Thanks, Steve
Love your videos! Can you post new ones daily for me please ?! 🙊🤣 I'm pretty new at furniture painting and have tried a few brands so far but totally feel the same way about Fusion ❤
Beautiful colors! How do you figure out which colors to combine and in what amounts? Do you have a background in art or is this a natural talent? I don't have either so very glad for the tutorial! 👏😀💝
I actually do have an art background, I've been an artist my whole life, really! :-) I painted (on canvas) for years and have been a tattoo artist for approx 10 years as well! But I didn't go to art school, just something I have in me, I guess!
Subscribed. Your amazing, awesome work on the furniture, superb video graphics and the background music is top shelf. I watch your videos and I unwind. Bob Ross has nothing on you!
Hi Angie, i want to mix the gray with blue undertones which includes renfew blue, ash, putty and upper Canada. I cannot find upper Canada anywhere. I think it has been discontinued. is there another green that you think would work well in lieu of? Or maybe a different blend? I have ash and renfew on hand now.
Question for you. Have you done any wood pieces with Firefighting foam? I have a antique (cherrywood) piano and a dresser. Both have the foam on them. They were beautiful, not anymore. On both pieces, it’s only damaged on the sides. What can I do? Thank you, for your help 🙏🙏
The long answer here, is as much as I would LOVE to be able to help everyone who reaches out, there sadly just aren’t enough hours in the day. There is another side to this as well- sometimes things don’t come across properly through photos and videos, and are best seen, felt, etc in person. For THIS reason, it can sometimes be difficult to accurately determine the age, finish, wood species, etc of people’s project pieces. There is also the element of user error, when recommending products and finishes, or misinterpretation of my instructions. I get, on average, approx 40+ messages per day between Instagram, FB, UA-cam, and email (and literally hundreds of questions in the comments). It is unfortunately just not possible to be able to get back to everyone. The short answer is this: you can certainly message me on Instagram and if it’s a simple answer, I may try to help you out. But PLEASE don’t take offence if I’m unable to respond! I need more hours in a day!
One pint would get me (of dressers the size of the last one) three for sure, two coats each, and maybe a tad more. That would be brushed on, not sprayed... spraying always uses a bit more paint.
Hello Angie! Do you have any ideas to make FMP chocolate brown lighter? My daughter would like me to paint my grandson's dresser and bed, and she thinks chocolate brown is too dark. She would like a color close to Annie Sloan Chalk paint color, Honfleur. Like you, I like FMP much better than chalk paint now. Thanks so very much! I appreciate your suggestions. Deb 😊
Have you been to Fusion's website? It's incredible. So many tips, tricks and techniques. I'll link their techniques page here and you can have a look. You can filter the articles down by what you're looking for etc. I highly recommend it - fusionmineralpaint.com/techniques/ I hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching!
New sub here and holy crap I’m sooo flippin happy I found your channel! Can’t wait to watch your other videos! Thank you so much for the great info. I’m pretty new to Fusion and terrified to mess up my paints, 🤷🏻♀️ but you’ve just made it look not so scary! 🤪 How do you come up with each color, trial and error or ? Thank you! 🌷🎨🧑🎨😃
I’m lucky to have an art background so I’ve been mixing paint colours for decades- that definitely helps. For anyone just starting out with mixing some custom colours, I totally recommend watching some basic colour theory, or colour mixing videos- it should help out a lot! Also having an eye for seeing the over and under tones in each colour is beneficial for sure- as the original fusion colours are themselves blends and not primary. I hope that makes sense - not much sleep last night. Haha :-) have fun!!
I don't, actually! I get asked almost daily for custom work but I honestly just don't want the stress and pressure of it. I'd rather just do my own thing and if people like it, they can buy it! haha There's certainly a big market for it here, but it's just not for me :-)
Everything, absolutely everything you do is stunning ! I cannot express enough how much I appreciate your gift your talents and your willingness to share. You are my favorite, looking forward to more and more and more and more from you. Wishing you extraordinary UA-cam success!

You are amazingly talented! Thank you so much for this video ❤
I just found your channel. My friend, you do fantastic work. Your aesthetic is quite refreshing in a world of chalk paint and quick fixes.
When we know how it's difficult to create THE colour that is in our mind, we can understand that you are a gifted magician of colours. Bravo from France. 😊
That is a great idea for keeping the measurements straight. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for generously sharing your color recipes! You have an amazing eye for color!!❤️

Thanks Angie, it's very sweet of you to share your custom colors with us.🌷
Thank you for the color recipes. I love all of them!
I adore you! You are one of the best things on UA-cam right now! Keep up the great work❤️
I like your down to earth and your little jokes. Thank you also for sharing your recipes. 😊
Thank you Angie for sharing your colours... have a wonderful day! Christine
You are so generous for sharing your secret recipes, really do appreciate it since the new colors are amazingly beautiful 🤩 Thank you 😊💝

Fusion should be sponsoring you as I bought some because of you!
Odie's should TOTALLY be sponsoring her too!

I love the pulls on the last one.
Another thing I've found that helps remove lids off paint, pickles, etc. Are kitchen dish gloves. Either put them on or grab the open end & turn.
Your custom colors are gorgeous and so sophisticated! Thanks for sharing.
Fusion Mineral Paint should totally endorse you!! All of your custom mix creations are brilliant. You should give them some fancy, sophisticated names 😉✌💚 Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I have only watched 2 episodes and I have learned so much already!
This was such a GREAT and helpful video. I love that you are sharing these. They really make a substantial variance in the final project. I love ALL four, but my favorite is the Renfrew remix. Thanks again Angie
I cannot pick a favorite. They are all gorgeous.
Angie keep on chucking and sending out videos, you're an inspiration
Thank you for sharing your colors. Another awesome video.😊
Yay! these colors are amazing! Thanks for sharing!
All the colors are so beautiful.
You are so generous in sharing both your knowledge and your secret recipes.😆
Thank you so much for watching!
Now I regret throwing out all my Fusion jars 🤦🏻♀️ from now on I will save them and custom mix!
Thank you so very much! Great video. I think I want to try the light one with sage.
im literally obsessed with your channel now! thank you for existing!

Your videos are so helpful!! I am not flipping but have several free pieces I want to refinish. THANK YOU for sharing your incredible talent!
Thank you for the recipes. I don't pour, I use a spoon to keep the rim on my bottles clean and to save paint.
That’s definitely a great idea!
Great tutorial...keep them coming🙏🏽🙏🏽

Thank you so much! I'm currently trying County Chic, but Fusion is my next brand to try. I love it and have to have it more with each of your videos.
I love fusion paint also. Never mixed up large batches of custom colors. Smaller ones, yes, so this was helpful

Your color blends are calming and homey. I didnt realize how ugly my furniture is. LOL.
Beautiful colours

Hi Angie, i want to mix the gray with blue undertones which includes renfew blue, ash, putty and upper Canada. I cannot find upper Canada anywhere. I think it has been discontinued. is there another green that you think would work well in lieu of? Or maybe a different blend? I have ash and renfew on hand now.
Fusion released a brand new color called 'Conservatory' that is very close to the discontinued Upper Canada color that you can substitute.
Just found this video and that navy is exactly what I have been searching for lol.
Awesome!
Thank you Angie For sharing your work I am from NovaScotia in Coldbrook
Just amazing!
Many thanks! 😊
What do you top coat this with? I have used your idea of drawing lines on a jar and I hope to use it again! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing, awesome!
Thank YOU for watching! 🙂
Thank you, thank you 🌹🌸🌺🌷💐🌼
Are the Fusion paints you use good for kitchen and bathroom cabinets? If so, how do they hold up in the higher humidity environment of a bathroom?
Im also curious about this question. 😊
Great idea
How did you come up with the new colors just experimenting? How much would it take to paint a dresser would you need more than 1 jar?
Oh no, I usually get a few pieces out of one of the jars. :-) It goes a long way!
have you made something close to seaside? I have a couple of blues - but want more of a green.
Not yet!
