Altering the Bodice of Simplicity S9702 👗 (& pattern review)

I love this pattern but I felt like the V neckline was way too deep to be practical for me. It also bothered me that the bodice didn't meet in the middle as this meant I had to line both the bodice and the first tier of the skirt. With a few changes to the front bodice piece, I fixed all these problems and I'm really happy with the results.

This black and white is just….amazing. I LOVE all of them and for different reasons. I wear a lot of black and white so this takes the design to another level in my opinion. Additionally, I’m this girl. Maxi/multi color/layered/patterns, etc…just in Love. Thanks. Hate I didn’t know of you when I visited the UK but I’m coming back😂

8 yards is much fabric and expensive. The altered smaller dress at the left seems to me very nice, more summerlike and less “overdressed”.
