Dismantling the turret top - Renovation vlog #47

The the real start of the works on the turret. We start by dismantling the stones and the headband which is all tilted, and in very poor condition... 👇
There is a lot of damage to the stones, and the bricks are turning to dust.
We also take the opportunity to clean the cut stones, purge the cement and make the first repairs.

◽ Natural pigment according to desired shade
◽ 1 vol. lime NHL 3.5
◽ 1 vol. white cement 52.5
(lime/cement proportion may vary depending on the affectation. Pure lime for surface work, pure cement for high sollicitation)
