Each of the Yan Shou Gong sets condenses the best practices of the Nei Gong arts, making them: • Easy to learn. • Quick to practice. • Produce real internal skills. Many types of Nei/Qi Gong practices typically take years before a student feels any benefits from the training; Or even worse, the methods don’t produce any results. However, this is not the case with Yan Shou Gong, as the student will notice the benefits instantly, and in most instances, it can begin to deliver results within weeks. Yan Shou Gong also emphasizes the development of kinetic energy and the mind; in Chinese martial arts, these terms are referred to as Jin 勁 and Yi 意. It also teaches the practitioner how to perform techniques such as Grounding, Rooting, and Centering, creating awareness and mindfulness of being in the body. This can improve a practitioner’s martial abilities, but it can also help relieve stress, anxiety, and depression. The comprehensive instruction provided in this course is ideal for martial artists who want to study an authentic Nei Gong system/internal art. It is also suitable for those who have previously been too busy, living a stressed-out lifestyle, and now need to work on improving their health. Inner-door Students Group: As well as the comprehensive video instruction provided within the course, Master Yap has created a private group to personally guide students studying the Yan Shou Gong (Shaolin Nei Gong) course with him. Access to the group is exclusive and only available to students who enroll in this course. Students can use the group to ask questions, discuss the video lessons and share their training experiences with the other pupils. Master Yap will be on hand to answer any questions and share new video lessons with the group. Click on the link to find out more: bit.ly/3K9w9AC
Martial Man - earlier Master Yap explained the clear distinction between Rooting and Grounding and how to move energy from the Hip to the palms. If you put together an online program with Master Yap I will sign up. Thank you very much- Master Yap explains a lot of complex concepts beautifully. The explanation of role of Fascia and Tensegrity is novel I felt.

@@THEMARTIALMAN sadly after having lived in Singapore for so many years I did not have the common sense to locate someone like Master Yap shame on me. The moment I heard Master Yap speak I realized he is from Malaysia or Singapore. Now after registering for his course online I feel I have to fly back all the way back to Malaysia and Singapore to relearn
Why is this guy so good? Because he had a great teacher who cared deeply, namely his dad, a true master. Important wisdom to attain a full life, a complete advanced life that brings another level of health, strength, thought control and wisdom. Focus on Neigong practice and become powerful and efficient. I like this guy because he is smart and mellow and a talented, skillful martial artist. I think that he knows how to teach in an efficient way. Where is his school and is his school set up in a traditional way? Or does he only accept certain students with a particular set of previous training and practices? I think the most important part of neigong is yi or mind over body, which is the hardest thing for me to master or even get started.
...'and some paths you may not want to take at all...' Brilliant. More seriously though, this is all pure music to my ears as a 2 year practitioner of Wuzu quan with Peter Dillon here in Ireland. As a holistic therapist this underlines my Yi intention to make these practices my best friend for the rest of my life and healing practice. Just starting with Shiatsu and Chinese Nutritional Therapy. Superb for those with ears to hear! Peace.
