How to get to the Cerulean Coast | Shadow of the Erdtree Guide

The Cerulean Coast is one of the five main areas in the Realm of Shadow, and features its own map fragment for those wanting to fully flesh out the world. However, due to the two-dimensional way the map works, it’s hard to miss the route required to reach the south coast, which requires traversing a series of underground caverns that travels underneath the starting area.
This guide explains where to find this route, and how to safely traverse it to the Cerulean Coast.

So for those who have actually looked at the map how do you get to the upper part of the cerulean map. (Not the section that you originally enter into but above that and in between the grave site plain) There is a hippopotamus there with a scadutree fragment there. It shows up on the map as read section of rock in the area. How the hell do you get there. There's even a golem in the area.
If you take a right outside of the gravesite planes and head to the cliff you can see it clearly.

Thanks for actually showing how and where to descend. Other people just show the pillar path grace, and didn't even show where the jump down path was. The videos were basically useless since it was an entirely different path in the same direction.
