The out drive boats looked terrible and a handfull 2 drive . Gods Gift 🎁 just sat on the water 💧 beautifully. Knew Alan Beale & he had those Hull's constructed exceptionally well by Revolution Fibreglass in Bayswater Victoria. Saw him one day deal with a couple of drop kicks complaining about his Race Boat that he Built 4 them . It was down in Carram Water Sports Centre . So he directed them 2 take the 19ft out so he could observe the driver . Porpoising all over the Place . So Alan jumped in & right off the Bat the 19ft ran beautifully & smooth . 👌 He came back & said nothing wrong with it . Go learn 2 $#@!^%$ drive b4 u go racing 🏁 I knew one of the guys really well. They didn't know what 2 say 😅 Would love ❤️ 2 own a 21 & 19 ft Stephens V-drive anytime 😅
The stern drive boat ( Stinger ) only looked wobbly because he was crossing the wash .. Hate to tell you but Mirage took off in that race and was so far ahead of Gods Gift .. Mirage broke a fuel pump and stopped , other than that the Gift would have got smoked .. Don't get me wrong i loved the Gift but that was the fact ..But like the old saying goes To finish first , first you have to finish .. Gods Gift was definitely one of the best looking boats ever ...
@markmurray5709 I think my tastes r geared 2wards the American Hot Boats as opposed 2 the Australian Boats. And the Stephens is more in keeping with that theme . Although these r more geared 2 drag or circle racing 🏁 l love ❤️ the Beismeyer Flat Bottoms & Chevy Chase. Also the Eliminator Daytona's 19 , 21 , 22 & 24 . More my thing . Hallett 17 , 19 & 20 ft & not the %$#@@$ versions that Revolution Fibre Glass did 2 them . Used build the 17ft Hallett & 19 ft when l was 17yrs 4 the guy that bought the original moulds out from the USA 🇺🇸. Have built quite a few 19 ft Daytona's . .

That’s my favourite part, in between two houseboats. That would have been amazing to see onboard the houseboats haha.
