Seriously some of the best work with this sampler I’ve ever seen. I used to have one and I know how hard it is to make full songs that actually sound good.
Hello! Midi dumping is sure possible but so slow its painful. As fidelity is not really an issue with the SU10 i sampled from the headphone output of my laptop to the line in.Then edited up the samples in the su10. The samples are from a Deekline and Ed Solo taster pack.
One of the coolest dnb vids on UA-cam! Great sound from this small sampler. I tried to post another answer to your comment on my video "TB-303 sound on the Korg EMX" but somehow that didn't work on my page. I just wanted to let you know your hint on the accent function is extremely helpful! If you don't need the accent for any of the other synth parts or don't mind them being affected in the exact same way, the method you described can get you a lot closer to a nice 303 emulation. Sorry this reply is very late. Cheers!
Thank you for replying, i kinda guessed thats how you did it. I also liked the use of the monotron delay, very effective. I can tell that a LOT of time has gone into this, as i used to have one of these, and they were great
Remember kids , that sampler over there has 384kb of memory ! You are the man dude !
This is fire still burning HOT AF after ALL these years….bravo. ✨🤘🏻❤️🔥
Yamaha hit the nail on the head with those video cassette sized machines.. this vid proves it...

I love these little samplers... Here is someone how knows how to use them proper. Great track!
SLAMMIN!!😜 inspirational man. Want su10 now. Monotron delay is a little bucket of filth. I love it.
I've seen people with 10x gear do tracks 1/10th as good as this one. :)
Holy shit that kicks in around 2m 😯 I fuckin love the SU10. Made a “album:” on it in the early 2000’s. A wonderfully dirty sampler
Love this video! You killed it.

You have to load your own samples into this thing.
Rockin beat. Good one :)
Do you need to have a mixer to do this? Or could you buy a cheap sound card to run them both through?
Hello, this is very good! I'm considering to buy the SU10 but I xanted to know, does the drum samples come with the unit or you uploaded them into it?
Is that Squarepusher vocal I can hear there?!
Indeed, from that '96 interview.
Great and live performance with a really cheap music gear! Five stars!

2024 Where are you People”

How did you get the samples onto the su-10, are they midi-dumped or captured from the 3.5 audio jack then edited on the machine itself? thanks
