At the end of a thin and curvy road that leads from the town of Staré Hamry through a dense forest resides the small ski area Gruň. Along with three Poma platters, Gruň consists of a Girak-Garaventa double chair. Constructed in 2013, the 554 meter long lift follows a terrain with a very consistent steepness, resulting in a vertical rise of 144 meters. Interesting about this chairlift is that it previously operated as the Katrinlift in Bad Ischl, Austria.
