Any chap willing to bare hand ancient poo slime is worth subscribing to. God bless this great country.
I turned the isolation switch on and off about 20 times and my friend it worked!! You absolutely saved me. I wish you could tip on UA-cam
I've had my saniflo saniplus for going on 8 years. 1st problem happened the other day. Turns out it was just a build up of sludge. I turned off water supply and pumped out as much liquid as it would. I put 1 gallon of white vinegar in the bowl and let it sit for about 6 to 7 hours. It started working normally again. Turns out you're supposed to put a descaler in every six months or use the vinegar, which is cheaper, more often. Side note: my family of 7 uses this setup with the shower, bath sink and kitchen sink attached for about half the year. So it does get heavy use. I did order a bunch of spare parts so it could be fixed in short notice if it ever needs it.
After 5 years of using, my Sanibest pro is no longer a reliable system. I am wondering which parts I should replace, so i can have more reliable system again. Any suggestion?
HUGE thank you! You tip of plugging and unplugging the unit just saved me tearing into this unit, which I would have done if necessary. Many thanks!
Thanks buddy. Helped me fix my jammed macerator.
Ed. I just want you to know mine has been blocked since Dec 17th and based on your video, I took mine apart. Drywall screw below blade. All good now. Thanks!!! Dani Flo said I needed new blade. Not in stock of course. All good
Thank you for taking the time with this. It was very helpful.
Thanks For taking the time and effort to post the video. Very much appreciated. Dont worry about all the idiots who cannot see past the gloves. They're your hands and you did say you recommend wearing gloves.. old school is the best school. 😂
Thank you so much! Your plugging unplugging trick worked! Saved me from getting my hands filthy
Thank you for this. It is very helpful! Of course I agree with all of the sanitation messages but your content is terrific.
Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video!!! Saved me big time!
Great vid. Saved me 1200 dollars. Thank you so much.
Thank you for this video. I’m cleaning out one of our units now. My god the stench. 🤢
Rubber Gloves recommended... some rags, towels perhaps, and a wet dry shop vacc???
Thanks so much for your video I was able to follow the instructions and unclog my motor saved a lot of money appreciate it
What type of air vent are you using? Isn't it supposed to vent to the outdoors and allow air in and out of the vent? Could that be why it's not performing well?
I had the same problem and observations- jammed three times this year after using for 5 years . I am wondering which parts I should replace, so i can have more reliable system again. Any suggestion?
Gloves recommend for sanitization and safety.
Thanks for the video! Glad I am not the only one. I have a question though. When I tried to take the anchor bolts out of the base they broke off. Did you experience the same issue? If so, how did you re-anchor your toilet to the floor again? Did you re-drill holes or used something else? I am planning to re-ancher it but just getting more information. Thanks
Thanks for posting this, very helpful, much appreciated.
Thank you for the great video! I just had to open mine up today and found several “flushable” wipes in there causing problems. It was disgusting but seems to be working fine now.
Very Useful! Thanks!
Smelly business is saniflo maintenance! I just replaced an old unit (must have been 10 years old at least) which finally gave up the ghost. Tried to keep it going as long as possible with a descaler clean etc but just gave out. Per flush/shower/wash it probably worked out at
Thank you so much mate for your tips and video you are my hero
If this jammed three times in five years on toilet paper. It’s a piece of crap, literally. But thank you for the video
So much for the latex gloves!
I can't get past the bare hands.... :0
I think after all that work to remove the unit it was a good time to pressure wash it at a working shower stall.
Main event @10:10 Great info after that. And for safety: Wear latex gloves; didn't do that. Best do it outside; did it inside... 😂😂
Thanks for this video.
Thanks! You helped me a lot!
huge help. You saved me!
This dude needs a shop vac in his life! But he has socks and slides soo..
BTW, what you paid for the hand pump at Home Depot, you could have bought the shop vac pump that fits on top of your Homer Bucket.
How about pouring hot water to help dissolve tp
we have our Sanibest Pro for 5 years and never got any issues until now. Some of the circuit got flooded with water and it shorted out. I'm thinking of going for another solution/product.
After 5 years of using, my Sanibest pro is no longer a reliable system. Would you share your solution?
@@garyxie6944 hello, i temporarily went with "Saniflo Sanivite". it's a weaker model but it's only for grey water now as we're saving up for a bath and plumbing remodel. we might do 2 units, one as a macerator for toilet waste and this existing Sanivite for bath/shower/laundry.
I've got one in a commercial setting. Not dependable at all for us.
I recommend upgrading to the premium grinder unit, that will be less likely to jam...
Super valuable!
GLOVES Please...
Might want to run some enzymes through the toilet once a month or once a week maybe...
Sockets in a bathroom 💀💀🤣
No gloves?🫣
putting your bare hands into that? No thanks
He tore that apart just to make a youtube video? Geez
He needs money to buy shoes and latex gloves, I said gloves!🤣🤣
That just tells you not to put paper down your electric toilet....
Im not going to do this
like
wholly shit, I just bought one of these, not looking forward to that!
Dude there's a little hole on top of the tank. Stuck the hose in there
