- “NYCHA has ZERO tolerance for wrongful and illegal activity," said NYCHA CEO Lisa Bova-Hiatt.
"The individuals allegedly involved in these acts put their greed first and violated the trust of our residents, their fellow NYCHA colleagues and all New Yorkers. These actions are counter to everything we stand for as public servants and will not be tolerated in any form. In the past five years, NYCHA has achieved many significant milestones, while remaining vigilant to ensure integrity in every area of our work.
We have already made transformative changes to our business practices and will continue to do so. We will not allow bad actors to disrupt or undermine our achievements. We thank Ralph Iannuzzi, NYCHA’s Inspector General, Jocelyn Strauber, Commissioner of the NYC Department of Investigation, Damian Williams, US Attorney for the Southern District of NY and their respective teams for their diligence in this investigation. We will continue to work with all of our law enforcement partners to rid the Authority of malfeasance.”
When they had a Board meeting I said they were stealing the money because what they were saying in the Board meeting did not make sense. I knew what I was talking about. This is why homelessness is so high because they steal money that is supposed to help people in need

This exactly why i won't pay rent. I have complained over & over about repairs needing to be done in my apt. All they have done is come into my apt to take pics but never come to fix the repairs. Then they have the audacity to raise rent. My walls are breaking down & my bathroom sink is detached from the wall. I gotten so tired of these workers coming to take pics that i just stop answering my door. The housing office assistants ain't listening. I just gave up hope. It's bad my kids can't live here.

This is not just going on in NYC. It's going on in pgh . Along with horassmant. .entering into tenants home when their out, . Damaging huds property as well as tenants. . You call authorities and get no help . You call hud. Brick wall
I though they have to send you a 24 hours notice, before they can enter your unit, unless you give them permission to enter, to do a work order, unless over there is different, here in boston housing, they cannot come into your place, without a advance notice!!

What are the reasons for lots of these workers wanting to work with housing. . And why are alot of them being scrutinized. .they do things that are not apart of their job description. . Setting up an evil invirament against tenents using other tenants, . Or coveting someones property. .or even sneaking in to damage their property, or harm them by spraying somethen vile on their appliances, breaking them, . Or tampering with food, planting mold or bed bugs. . Is not offering quality housing.. . I dont trust leaving food in my home, . So theres been alot of waste and fraud not only for the government and taxes payers, . But the tenants.
