Since April 7th, 2023, we’ve been soaring through the skies, capturing the thrill of aviation at Gloucestershire Airport. But behind the scenes, there’s more than meets the eye. Setting up our gear takes a solid 2 hours, and breaking it all down afterward is equally time-consuming. It’s a labor of love, but I knew there had to be a better way.
🚚 The Unexpected Discovery
Instead of an ex-BT trailer, fate led me to a hidden gem: the Bailey caravan. On April 4th, 2024, I made it mine. From the outside, it looked pristine, but appearances can be deceiving. Water damage had taken its toll, leaving the floor in need of repair. The awning rails and roof required some TLC too. Yet, this weathered beauty held promise.
🏠 Creating Space
Inside, it was a blank canvas. The previous owner had stripped it bare, leaving only the essentials. But why? My theory: structural integrity. Two rooms emerged-the perfect setup to prevent lateral movement during our airborne adventures.

As we approach our one-year anniversary, I’m itching to hit that “Go Live” button again. But patience prevails. I want everything just right. So, I’ll wrap up those pending tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for our viewers. And the silver lining? Streamlining our setup means more airtime for you!
