Arrma Limitless Hobbywing Build Speed and Bashing Setup

- A customer wanted me to build a limitless that was fast but could also be driven for more then one run. I used a Hobbywing Max 6 and 1650kv brushless motor combo. The servo is a savox 1210 sg water proof high torque. Paired with a Futaba 4pm radio and receiver.

Awsome build tyler.. just started watching your videos & im learning more & more everytime on what I want next. Next one will be the limitless v2 or the Mojave s4 truck love them both. I have the 2 wheel drive slash on a vxl3s velineon bronze & black fox body truck with the screw on clips. Im usually up at rc madness on Saturday's. Just want to thank you for always helping me out. You guys are awsome

I have the same set up was thinking of 1100 or 800 for dragging..my builder slash lil brother is like why go up to 8s? I want power!!! Not speed runs but have it just bc cant wait for the outcome of the video!! Thanks for posting i will follow..hold in im already following 😅😅
Hi. Similar build to mine but I could not mesh up the provided 27t pinion as the motor hits the dog bone cup.
Ya I forgot to show that but I did sand the motor down a small amount.

No bro. You remove the side skirt, get your motor in the bolt the skirt on.
@@1521joe Nothing to do with the skirt. The motor can is just big enough to lightly touch the center diff out drive. I did remove the skirt to install the motor
What's the amp of that esc? 160a or 200?
Xt90s!!! Only thing different!! And a few small upgrades nice though!!
The stock motor mount does not fit this motor I jus tried it and it’s too I had to order a different bigger 1/5 mount.. so idk how u made this motor fit the stock motor mount!!
I think that’s why people are using 30 tooth pinion gears makes the clearance of the drive shaft or whatever
It's funny to me seeing a radio in a build that's worth more than the esc and motor. 🤣
Which combo would you recommend for 8s? Can this setup handle an 8s pass?
