You are right again bro! Not everyone is chasing a world record. Most people just want a beautiful clean car that is fast and reliable. With this kind of quality content you don’t have to worry about the algos! Awesome job brother!💪🏻
YEESSS!!! Been waiting for one of these vids RAZ! In the process of doing my research and gathering up the parts to do a build. This is amazing info! Thanks again for the tips n tricks man. You definitely need more recognition for your work.
Thanks for this Raz. I'm that guy who's chasing 130 in a stretched Typhon and watching your videos is such a boost. Not just learning what to do, but also what not to do. Keep it up, the world is watching my man. 🤜🤛👊
Great to see a build/guide, for those of us, with smaller budgets 😀 It's awsome that you spend the time, and share the knowledge, that I gues is hard earned 👍
I feel like some of this should have classical music playing instead😂😎 I think you are correct, a 100 mph RC car is REALLY fun! Perfect Pass carbon fiber is REALLY great looking. BasherQueen I KNOW is beautiful and perfect. This is the 1st carbon fiber I have seen come close to hers. Very Nice job Raz+friends.
Thanks again for a great video and showing us how to set up a speed run car. Me my traxxas slash running at 60mph and trying to keep it from flying puts a smile on my face.
Just wanted to say thanks to Raz for taking time to go over the basics. Sharing this information will in the end make everyone faster and more people will get involved. I think we’ll start to see people doing 200mph not too far from now. Again, thanks for your time and expertise.
You're new place looks awesome Raz! Amazing video as always just watching the series's again to make sure I get everything 👍 hahah Soo much priceless knowledge from a true legend in the RC community
Hey Raz, I jusst wanted to say thank you! I have been in R/C world since the 70's... Your offering up key knowledge at no expense to the viewers, which is PRICELESS~~!!! As a 7yo then my Dad tought me how to crash planes, later I learned to fly and then drive. I just jumped back into this hobby at 53 and I am loving it. Jets, Planes, Nitro, Lipo, Buggies and boats. Too much fun.... I appreciate you and what your doing for the hobby. When I build up my cat 74inch I will send you a message and let you know how it came out and if it can break 130mph. I have built what you have shown here in this video, im gonna run it in a couple days. Keep you posted. Keep up the great work!
Great video, awesome REBUILD bro! Many RC Speed enthusiasts, especially us OG's appreciate those rookie speed runners. Your video Playlist will keep the creativity alive. Thanks for all you do bro, Bravo!
Yeh thanks Raz , I got the bug. Built this car with you but used a non castle power plant. Didn’t even finished the build and half way through ordered the xlx2 while I was waiting for other bits to turn up. We aren’t that fast down under so I want to change that 😜 thanks for all the helpful tips and tricks . You are the man!👍🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼😜
Nailed it, guys like me not a big speed runner. IF I hit 120 I am good I can quickly change it for bashing. Spool and diff and smaller pinion done. If needed. Great info Raz. Miss you at Hobbytown in Sanford. Saw you there once.
Incredible work mate, just drove my wife's infraction and vendetta . Loved it so much I got a Limitless, great channel and videos. This will help a lot. Thanks so much Raz .
I love this because it's so many ways to skin a cat in set configurations. And I love how you're going against the grain here and you are going to have a lot of negative remarks from people who do not 🚫 believe in sharing how to setup up a speed run build. You have ballz to do what the hobby should be doing. Which is helping others enjoy the hobby. And this helps beginners or those who are struggling and hit a ceiling of understanding of how to go further. You're educating as you explain so the people watching can do it for themselves and feel accomplished. It's a stepping stone to fundamentals of building a clean speed car. BRAVO! SIR BRAVO!👍🏽🙏💯
YES! ive been waiting for someone to make a bible like this. ie DO these exact things, with these exact parts and run 150mph. looking forward to part 2 and 3! would love to see a 150mph Bible made. also its the TransMISSION ratio, not the TransFER ratio ;) LOVE THIS STYLE VID! especially if you get more detailed later like bearings, toe etc. ie maximizing effeciency. aero etc.
This was a great series to help guys wanting to improve whether it is gearing, wiring or chassis set up. I hope you make a few more although I know it takes a LOT of your time to create this kind of content. On another note, I hope you will make the Rlaarlo bat wings. Take care.
Man this car is gonna RIP! Love the build, looks sweet. Great details on why and how you like to do things I've seen your 169mph pass video so I know you know what your doing. Great effort equals Great SPEEDS 👍 keep it going
I’m out today raz with my v2 infraction bro hoping for a new pb I got 119mph but then she took flight ✈️ few adjustments done bro but il up load the video to share with everyone u inspire me matey watching u got me in this hobby love it buddy I’m running the 1520 1650 kv mmx8 combo with a 32 32 one to one with grp s7 wheels and two 4s 6000 mah 50c batteries hoping for 120 even 125mph
65 mph is perfect for our road track the straight away. For 1/8 has 700 feet straight custom built for 1/8 on roads thank you for amazing video truly the best video ive seen
Got a 1717 & MMX8S coming this week, been debating on what to buy for a speed run again (started last year) and was thinking of going back to the VTE, but i think Limitless looks best option!
Awesome stuff man, you're a legend...really appreciate the knowledge you share with the community, many other would not. Did anyone ever figure out which gearing app he was using? I went through the comments but couldn't find it.
I thought kv stands for voltage constant?? Great video either way bro liked and subbed. What are your thoughts on 1/10 scale cars for speed runs? What would you use?
Yeah!!!!! Im one of those ppl!!!!! I want a ladies carbon fiber, like a pink one, go 130mph and have the weekend of my life. Go CARBON FIBERRRRR!!!!!!!
Im just trying to go 100mph lol. But im not on arrma. Im on Traxxas 1/16. Erevo arms (wide), Castle Sidewinder 3 kit (5700kv) 39-43 gearing, steel cvd's, hot racing diff cases, Ovonic 3S 50c lipo, stifff suspension with travel limiters and nitro fuel hose as bump stops on the shock shafts. Topped with a Team Blue Groove Celica grp5 body and Contact Rc 68mmX26mm foams. Raz i know youve seen me list this before but i like to leave ideas for others aswell ❤ hopefully switching to arrma soon 🎉
Do you not over torque your screws at times using thet dewal drill? Taking them out I use a drill but tightening I use my hand to feel the torque. Nothing worse than stripped threads.
A couple of corrections: 1. KV: At 7:50, the 'kay-vee' with regards to any electric motor (not just BLDC motors like here) isn't 'kV" (which is kilovolts), or "KV" (which doesn't mean anything), but is instead ...in engineering, it is common for 'k' to denote a constant (from the German 'konstant'), with a subscript to denote the type. 2. The subscript 'v' doesn't stand for velocity but voltage.
So does the 4070 can not fit this rig im thinking of building a drag/speed run build to keep my other cars a specific setup.I mainly like the limitless for it's dual battery tray something I've been dying to get my hands on.
I have one question I see that you never reattached the chassis brace so is it a alternative that you used so that the drive shafts can fit properly or do you no longer need them?

Thanks so much for all this help. Most of these guys won't even share their gearing and you are telling all. Much appreciated.
I'm chasing RC knowledge for my self and chasing world records vicariously through others ;) Top Shelf video Raz! TY!

They also make that Dewalt driver with a clutch! I own a few of those.
Awesome stuff man, you're a legend...really appreciate the knowledge you share with the community, many other would not.
Did anyone ever figure out which gearing app he was using? I went through the comments but couldn't find it.

Outstanding!!!
Love these how to videos, plus your using the 1717 1650kv, so very interested in how this goes👍
I thought kv stands for voltage constant??
Great video either way bro liked and subbed.
What are your thoughts on 1/10 scale cars for speed runs? What would you use?
Curious if you would normally put bearings in the steering or is leaving the bushings better?
Yeah!!!!! Im one of those ppl!!!!! I want a ladies carbon fiber, like a pink one, go 130mph and have the weekend of my life. Go CARBON FIBERRRRR!!!!!!!
Thank you
Thanks.. Raz.. for explain me push red button 🤣
I wanted to make an electric goped. Which motor would you suggest that I use? It weighs 46 lb and runs on 10 inch wheels
You can't build a speed car with out the trusty Tamiya wheel spanner! lol! Keep up the good work mate!
Woohoo some bath time content I'm looking forward to this
Should I be concerned?! Lol jk
@@RazShifrin maybe a little haha
Should I spend money on ceramic bearings for a Arrma infraction v2 that I'm making 8s (mamba monster and 1717 kv motor combo)
Nope
Thanks
Thank you!❤️🙏🏻
Do you not over torque your screws at times using thet dewal drill? Taking them out I use a drill but tightening I use my hand to feel the torque. Nothing worse than stripped threads.
Hey raz very nice video from you like all of you vids.💪👍👍😊
Whats the name of the gear app ???
no one?
A couple of corrections:

When Raz talks about Rc speed....you listen.
So does the 4070 can not fit this rig im thinking of building a drag/speed run build to keep my other cars a specific setup.I mainly like the limitless for it's dual battery tray something I've been dying to get my hands on.
I would love to see a smaller build. Maybe the vendetta!!? I’m working on mine now. Just hit 100 mph on 3/4 throttle
I have one question I see that you never reattached the chassis brace so is it a alternative that you used so that the drive shafts can fit properly or do you no longer need them?
