What a fantastic interview. One of my favorite wrestling moments of all time was at an NXT House Show and William Regal was the first person to come out and welcome us. I lost my mind. Absolute legend.
Put this on as something in the background, now set entranced by Regal just talk passionately. I've got family from the north too so it's just nice and warming to hear these subjects being talked about so passionately in such a familiar cadence. Could listen for hours.
Regal is such a treasure. This interview could have been three hours and I'd listened to all of it. One thing I will say about a lot of these interviews when it's ex WWE employees. You can just tell how strict WWE is when talking about other companies since they always ask oh can I say the name WWE. That is one great thing about AEW is they don't care if you say the name WWE or if you talk good about them. its just very telling how he had to say I don't care if i get fired for this but i have nothing bad to say about WWE. That just shows how some ex WWE employees still have the WWE mindset about talking nice about other companies.
