When does BC sleep...much less see his family? The guy seems to be in multiple projects simultaneously. SUCH an amazing Actor. There is NOTHING this guy can't do. His treatment of Alan Turing in The Imitation Game was pure Genius.
Seth is SUCH an amazing interviewer I absolutely love the way he communicates with people and allows them to express their entire thought with appropriate and interesting follow up questions. Plus “Corrections” is hella funny so there’s that lol.

Seth understands that in an interview the interviewée is the important person. He asks direct questions, doesn't beat around the bushes and doesn't try to be cool or to treat the guest as a "buddy", like other late night hosts (Fallon) do.
Benedict is such a lovely, humble and hard working person! I truly respect and admire him.
Benedict is just extraordinary in everything he does ❤ Someone please give this man an oscar! 😫

I've never heard Mr Cumberbatch talk outside of a role. His real voice is so much softer than any character I've seen him as; it's almost jarring.
Cumberbatch's performance in this movie is Oscar worthy, for sure. I am curious what he smelled like unshowered. He is incredibly articulate in this interview. Very impressive. I wish most actors could speak like this without a script.

Compare this interview with the one of BC on Colbert. The difference is striking. On Colbert, Benedict Cumberbatch appeared a lot more restrained whereas here he is much more relaxed and open. Not to wax emphatic or overly reaching, but that ought to tell you all you need to know about the kind of person Seth Meyers is (decent, kind and respectful? that's my take on it) that he is able to make someone as polished as BC relax and share of himself as willingly.
I refuse to believe that his school age friends called him 'Benedict'. That Mary he pushed 100% called him 'Benny'.
Remember they are British- she probably called him Mr. Benedict Cumberbatch, Esq.

Benedict Cumberbatch did a terrific job in this film and it was a very well done movie overall, but I had a tough time getting over it being filmed in New Zealand. I always wonder why they don't actually film a movie where it is set...especially a place like Montana.?
Well, I guess it's a matter of cost, visuals, the fact that Montana possibly lacked the wilderness wanted, covid restrictions(?) and most importantly the fact that the director Jane Campion is from New Zealand, so she probably just wanted that and a movie does what a great director wants

Whenever someone says that the place where the movie happens is another character in the film I say well then where is it set? Like is New Zealand wandering around New York? Or more likely Vancouver playing New York.
Lol pretty much since the film is actually based on somewhere in the Midwest and they shot everything in New Zealand. It's like new Zealand is playing a different character I'm a way. Weird as it is lol

Usually Toronto is subbed in for New York. My favorite story about Hollywood comes to Canada is that Toronto’s subways are just too clean so they brought in a bunch of trash to spread around so they could shoot for a few hours. Came back the next day and… no trash. Had to dive another dumpster to get that NYC feel 😂

Apparently a huge percentage of the UK just doesn’t care whether they’re in the EU or not. If they had, more would have voted and stopped it.
