I loved this movie. The art in the process of being made is an intoxicating focus, cinematography is gorgeous, fascinating characters well-acted, explores a difficult historical period, and cats as a main enchanting character.
Too much pressure was put on that man from a young age. Artists like Louis Wain need people to look out for them, guide them, and protect them. He didn't have that... and he needed that!
That's because she was a main character in one of his television series "Flowers" that has 3 Seasons worth of viewing beginning in 2016. You get more insight when you look beyond the present. ; )
Loved the beauty and the poetry and the humanity and of course the love story of this movie and all the characters we bought a print from Louis Wain after ❤️
Will Sharpe is the writer/director of the future! As well as an amazing actor, like the tortured Rodney in Giri/Haji for which he got a bafta for best supporting role. I adooooore this guy. Also check out his C4 show Flowers.
@@HarlequeenStudio yes he has one for the power of dog this year. But what i meant to say is that he also had one for his Alan Turing role and I believe he also had one for 12 years a slave if I remember correctly
I found Louis's work in a vintage psychology book and checked into the single illo credit. I found a small publication a bio, in the 90's about this artist and had to mail away for it. This movie has a special place in my heart
I have to ask though, why electrical? From the title alone, one might have thought, had they not heard of the gentleman before like me, that the film was about a hitherto little-known counterpart of Edison or Tesla. Perhaps eclectic would have been a better fit for this fascinating individual?
Benedict is an A+ actor! I love all the independent films he is in!

Hello fan ❤️ thanks for the love and support 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
Where my BBC Sherlock fans at? Just realized Will was Corporal Lyons in The Hounds of Baskerville!
It's an order corporal.

I just found out that Will's wife is Sophia Di Martino who played Sylvie alongside Tom Hiddleston in the Loki series!

He really is the future. He’s gonna create a modern classic, it’s only a matter of time.
I discovered him on White Lotus. Watched Landscapers and had no idea he was the director!

Got to hear Benny's sweet voice after so long🥺❤😭
The most beautiful film I've seen lately! Did Benedict get an Oscar for that Alan Turing film? Give him one.
He got a nomination I think

Benedict Cumberbatch was nominated twice for the Oscar. He deserves to win. He’s a phenomenal actor.
Just figured out Will Sharpe played that corporal in episode The hound of the Baskerville of Sherlock. No wonder he looks so familiar.

Look at his artwork: your question will be instantly answered.
