- JD Vance has provided a moving speech at the Republican National Convention as he reflected on his upbringing, life, and recent selection to be Donald Trump's running mate for the 2024 election.
Mr Vance received a loud ovation as he discussed some of the tribulations he has overcome in his life so far.
He finished his address by discussing the trust Donald Trump has placed in him.
"Mr President, I will never take for granted the trust you have put in me and what an honour it is to help achieve the extraordinary vision you have for this country," Mr Vance said.
The more i hear him speak, the more i understand President Trump's choice

Vance is a genuine speaker, not flashy like Vivek or DeSantis, but speaks from his heart. While I was hoping for Vivek for VP, I understand the choice.
Vivek would make a great Secretary of State. It is the most senior position in the cabinet and the fourth person in line to the presidency.
@@Jon-iv6gh I agree he would be great in that role. What may happen though is that if elected, Vance will leave an open senate seat. The Ohio gov could put Vivek in that position, so Vivek could get some real experience in Congress. Playing the longish game, he could then run in 2028.

God does not condone homosexuality, the murdering of innocent babies in the womb, IRRESPECTIVE of the reason, He does not approve of "same-sex marriage", He does not subject Himself to a President who is proud of his support for LGBTQ, and as long as a country lives in sin and does not repent, God will NOT heal that country! America is on a bad path, and sadly, both parties are to blame! These people do not get it - God is not a "genie in a bottle" whom you call out when it suits you! He is God, He is Holy, He is true to His word, and when He says that WHEN my people humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways, and call on Him, THEN (and ONLY then) will He hear them and heal their land! God is not impressed by man and the office a man holds, God is looking to Godly men who will abide by His will and His word!
