Having just replaced my filters I was glad to see your clever idea of lying on a tote and mechanics mat to save your back. I’ll offer the idea of adjusting the passenger seat as far back and as low as possible to give yourself as much room as possible. Instead of using a quarter to remove the three screws, I used a small, short flat head screwdriver. It was a simple process but I was glad when it was over.

Always nice to see a smiling Rennlister. Based on your comment at 4:41, this is a no brainer. The white filter that you are pointing to as seen at 2:33 is the inlet side to the filter. So the airflow arrow on the filter that most or all filters have, points towards the inside of the car or towards the back of the car. And I highly doubt FCP Euro will give you a Lifetime Replacement Warranty on a filter.

Caution, the first replacement I bought on line for the frunk filter box was the correct size but far too ridged to go around the bend. I had to get a different make from the same supplier to fit correctly. The interior one would be easier to do if car was up on a lift.
