Good job. Great DIY project. You may have saved me a few dollars from the dealership.
What would the dealer charge for changing all4 filters and what did you pay and where did you buy them found the link on the filters great job
hey great info here....thanks! ALSO, can you put in a link for the centerlock wheel attachments please?
the 992's engine airfilter is a lot easer to change than the 991.2. Porsche packaging engineer did a good job to improve the serviceability!
Love your channel from Thailand
Thanks! 😃
Very good job and helpful video, thank you very much!
I renewed the air pre-filter in the trunk MANN CU 28 010 and the cabin-filter MAHLE LAO 812 (is same as LAK 812, but newer fiter material).
One remark for 911-992 owners:
@thomastung7291 is right: The original part for the 992 pre-filter in the trunk is: MANN CU 28 010.
You used the MANN CU 30 004, but this is the appropriate pre-filter for the 991-2.
For the 992 the 30 004 seems a little bit too long 😊
You have got to be close to 600hp with the wing..The cats , fiters and other goodies might even help a little too. Id really love to see you do a pull from 30ish to about 170 if you ever take a wrong turn and end up in Mexico or something that is..😊
Love the car, truly badassery at it's finest Sir🫡❤
will you be lowering the car? would really like to see how its done, you provide very helpful DIY vids
I can't seem to find the "center lock look" kit that you mention and show after minute 13...can you give a link please?
Suscribed! Great info my man..quick question though: How often should I change the filters? Thanks.
You would not change them, you will need to get the cleaning kit from them and clean them. I think every 20K miles.
Any different in cabin sound or exhaust after installed BMC?
Yes, you can hear turbos better and blowoff valve. Sounds crazy good.
When replacing regular motor air filters (Carrera S type) for the BMC filters, it does influence (improve!) air stream to the engine. How about motor management settings? Fuel mixture affected as well?
Not sure, you can hear more of the turbos now
Where did you get those wheels/how much did they run you?
Look up my video on the wheels. It gives you the company’s link
Didn't you see the one from MANN just not fit to your car?
Seemed ok with me. It’s the OE brand
Changing the air filter on a 992 is like 4 steps compared to 35 needed on a 991.2. Ridiculous.
Those air filters looked like oil air filters. In my experience they will eventually foul your MAP sensor.
