- I Built Minecraft's Biggest Nether Portal. This was a wild challenge that took up a lot of time and energy. Will I be able to break Minecraft's mechanics successfully?

Like ParrotX2 and his LifeSteal SMP Series where he broke bedrock or blew up 2000 TNT. Not Technoblade / TommyInnit / or any other Dream SMP member. This is a new and original Minecraft idea like HermitCraft or LastLife with Grian and MumboJumbo. Survival is harder than Hardcore Minecraft because PVP is on.

To make the purple portal part look better you could stagger the grid pattern over multiple inner blocks. It'll look more balanced and probably just look cooler in general

I think that using purple stained glass would be a cooler effect, and you could simply put the portal on the bottom.
The fact that this man made a world record just for our own entertainment and to stop a dumb thing that players do is just amazing this shows how far people will go

Minecraft PvP sucks so bad on a server like this, especially in 1v1. Someone just jumps you or gets the first hit its pretty much over. Its not even the fact that the Mane guy kills you or steals your stuff that makes it teeth-clenchinly hard to watch. Its the way he acts like the highschool bully in a Disney channel special, right down to the "well, lets see what we've got here..." like he's got your backpack and is ransoming your diary or something 8:21. It feels so scripted, but the really awkward nature of your conversations with him seem too hard to fake.

Fr, the hyperactive captions are my biggest example. If they were smaller or they just transcribed their own captions on yt it wouldnt be an issue. But half the time theyre over a 5th of the screen and flash around like they just took molly and went to a rave. Another gripe for me is the constant cuts after every goddamn sentence. Its nice to see someone who doesnt edit like they just snorted 15 kilos of adderall

Make an update suppressor so that the server gets so much lag that your able to break the portals frame without the actual portal breaking

Also you can remove the obsidian where the portal would go to make it look better if you use an update suppressor.

that would take fucking years to do for this many obsidian blocks, and you'd still have the empty gaps to fill, also I think it might be in spawn chunks, which afaik breaks update suppressors

Just a few minor improvments i’d suggest
Storage space: instead of putting every stack directly into the chests, put them into a shulked box and the shulker boxes into the chests, it’d save more storage space
Obsidian gathering: mine out the center of the End’s obsidian pillars and leave them as hollow shells
It sucks you couldn’t light the whole thing, but it still looks pretty dope and you got three points to go into

when i saw how much obsidian you needed after you said you will be doing it all in survival i genuinely got scared because i for some reason got a very weird fear of me or someone else counting or doing a small task million or more times, like nightmare level type of fear

Get the vanillatweaks datapack for custom nether portals, there is an option to make enormous portals like these possible in survival using /trigger.

You could put in purple glass panes or purple glass (magenta) at the obsidian blocks to kinda make it feel like it’s a huge portal, not just segments of it
