Thi s is why we voted Tory. I voted Tory, which I had never done before. The whole thing is a joke, and the UK public do not like being taken for mugs.
Would love to see her cabinet too. We don't have the best in the cabinet by a long chalk.
Remember when people were shocked when Thatcher could answer questions as she actually had beliefs and knowledge? This woman is the real deal and she should be power now
Absolute bullocks, she's a vile disgusting gaslighting human being, of course you support her, she panders to white supremacy and bigotry. VILE. Yuckkkkkkkkk
Why aren't the people voting on this? How is it democratic?
Kemi for PM..shes a strong intelligent woman.. the country needs her integrity to move forward... she's so articulate and confident.. what an amazing role model...
She doesn't see skin colour to her we are just people. She says it like it is.
She seems to me to be one of the very, very few (active) Tory politicians who isn't completely morally depraved - at least one out of two words do not seem like a lie - she would probably be the least-worst option for the position of the new PM
Personally, I consider the kind of person who bullies Tiny minorities to cover up the fact that she has no actual policies to be pretty depraved...Take away the hatred and this woman is nothing but an empty shell.
Isn't she the darling of the far-right?
What about the Rwanda part
I think it's refreshing to hear someone speak plainly and honestly and without apology, not being rude or arrogant but just being logical
Kemi for PM. An honest, straight speaking politician. I love the fact she tackled some tough questions and gave an honest response not just what people want to hear
Seriously, are you deluded. She's a tory mp 🙄
She's basically admitting at the beginning that she'd just be controlled by the party grandees.
Are you serious, Dan? The Conservative Party is packed full of bland and uninspiring people. All this culture war nonsense isn't important. She's a joke.
@@petermcfarlane6749 It’s the left that created this culture war in the first place buddy. You are a joke.
Watching this 7 days later with my head in my hands
What an absolute breath of fresh air Lemi is. I would vote for her.
Kemi
johnlochness - Hopefully you'll never get the chance.
Great interview she's a breath of fresh air !
I would absolutely love her to be prime minister
The Old Boys club will rather destroy the party than allow Kemi to be PM
Is this the lady that agreed there was no institutional racism in this country LOL
There isn't.

I like Kemi, and I like what she says, but she is a Nigerian. How can a foreigner just arrive and take over the country ?
It would never be allowed in any other country, why is it allowed here?
Well done Kemi. It is toxic to see the skin colour. I am Black British and l have met some wonderful White British. We are all God's creation.
Kemi fights for uniting society anyone who does not get that fact is not concentrating on what is said in total . A real breath of fresh air !
Exciting to listen to..RESPECT KEMI.
Fabulous to you Kemi
Kemi is about to turn politics on its head. I saw a clip of her in Parliament reacting to a BLM point raised by the opposition, my reaction was WOW this woman is sharp, on point, incredibly focused and human. She will go a long way and connect with the public, something I cannot see in any other candidate. If the Conservatives want to win the next election...only She could do it currently, Ben Wallace would have been the other.
Look at her tweet on June 30th on gender-id. She won't axe the TV Licence. She won't leave the European Courts and Laws. She's exactly the same as the rest, but words everything differently.
She’s a sellout and a liar just like the rest of them.
She's wonderful. Let's hope she features prominently in the next cabinet.
She’s no chance far too genuine and honest
Do you make an instant judgement on every person you meet. Guaranteed this is the first time you’ve ever even heard her speak
Please stop with the useless negativity.....
My thoughts exactly. They want someone who they can flex and bend to their demands. She is too straight. She is even tougher than Maggie T and that is huge.
This comment has a point. History has proven time and again that genuine and honest people don’t get elected.
@Juicy Leek The Cuckservative party would never want someone like Ron DeSantis to lead their party even though it would actually be beneficial for them.
I'm very much on the left, but she mostly impressed me. She had a couple of "politician" moments, and I very much disagree with privatising everything that moves (especially in broadcasting) but she seemed smart and engaged.
Few are consistent being neutral, though it's impossible for a state broadcaster. I endorse Ms Badenoch also
@@meerkatz74 If the worlds most evil billionniares want the BBC destroyed (and NHS priavtised) then we resist as much as possible. its always about power aand control over the masses.
Tory bot detected.
Why are you lying about being "very much on the left" to give your tory praise more credibility, it's obvious and it's embarrassing, nobody who Is very much on the left thinks somebody that wants to privatise everything, including broadcasting, "seemed smart and engaged"
She was out of her depth, and I'm extremely surprised that someone "very much to the left" could be impressed by someone as far to the Tory right as Badenoch. She basically wants to create a sink or swim society, with a small state and tax cuts for the wealthy. When she talks about 'cutting red tape' we should all know by now that this is a euphemism for chipping away at worker's rights such as sick pay, holiday pay, maternity leave etc. She shouldn't be allowed anywhere near high office.
Its always satisfying to listen to someone with a clear mind.
It’s what she has been instructed to do.
@@kanagawayarichin and the evidence is?
A very effective performer with an excellent grasp of detail in all the roles she was given before she was leadership candidate. She has grown in stature, seems genuine & has integrity. The thing that people say most about her is that she’s a real breath of fresh air in politics. The modern face of the Tory party. Very impressive indeed.
I love the fire inside her driving her to be PM.
"Yes, well, someone said have a go and I thought why not? I'm not busy this weekend and they think I could possibly do the job. So I thought I'd give it a go and you never know I might be up for it".
FFS.
Wouldn't you regret it every day for the rest of your life if you had a slim chance to be head of government and didn't even try?
People who play with fire get burnt .
I ve a feeling if she’d come out all guns blazing you’d have called her out on that too. Meaningless comment
She's just being honest, instead of trying to big herself up.
I ❤ Kemi
Even some of us here in the US are following this quest to be Prime Minister. After watching Kemi can you clone her and send her here?
You have Candace Owens !
@@mogznwaz Candace is a one trick pony and somewhat frivolous. Nonetheless I do follow her.
@@mogznwaz Well yes we do. Still, I am impressed with Kemi.
Despite appearances, Kemi is not just a more intelligent Candace Owens!
@@mogznwaz just because both women are black?
Candace Owens is not like Kemi Badenoch and has quite different views in some areas, and generally conducts herself in a more aggressive way
