A remote does not need to be paired as the Dock 2 itself functions as the primary "A" controller. Dock 2 is BVLOS ready and as of today in the US, it is operating under Shielded BVLOS waivers in addition to larger BVLOS operations that leverage DAA systems for no-VO BVLOS operations.
